These two sound great together and are the best Top 2 of American Idol history thus far. Season 3 was a great year for both, but Fantasia was more of an entertainer while Diana was a performer. It's true. Diana was only 16 here and Fantasia 19. I still think it's messed up that Fantasia won over Diana, but it's fair I guess because American Idol needed a soul singer that year and Fantasia was it. Diana was a vocal powerhouse, she didn't really have the whole package, They sound great together!!

Loved the video. I dont care what anyone else has to say cause they did their thing. Fantasia grew up singing this type of music and she rocked it. there was no surprise that she was gonna do her thing. their voices did go good together. people should quit tryna criticize one or the other and just say both did their thing! these were two different types of artists takin a song and doin it their own way together. i loved the performance. and thanks revaholic for the video.

It's been six years since these two competed in the Season 3 Idol Finale (Fantasia was 19 and Diana was only 16. Fantasia is now 25, and Diana 22). Their voices compliment eachother well, but I have to be honest. Diana struggled the most. Her voice was so buried underneath the heavy beat of the chorus and the powerhouse choir, that Diana strained and lost complete control. I heard she sick, the night she sang this too...whereas Fantasia, growled powerfully and was flawless. Great, overall!!

I appreciate both singers.  I do believe if Diana had gone up against another finalist she would have probably won. Fantasia gave a performance that demanded attention. She has much better stage presence. So after it is all said and done, Fantasia wins because she out performed Diana.

@Jameela2890 I agree, Fantasia did out sing her. Her performance includes her singing. I was simply mentioning how Fantasia's complete performance made her the obvious winner. The judges were impressed with her from day one.  Fantasia is an excellent performer with an outstanding voice.

ok, ok, at first I'm like, "Oh, dear GOD, whyi n the HECK did this joker mesh these two performances together??" But after listening a little further into it, I guess the two voices had the POTENTIAL to sound decent-maybe even recordable(?) Ok, that's a stretch, but I learned a valuable lesson here: Listen, then critique. You might end up putting your foot in your mouth, but that's why God made mouthwash, isn't it? :)

Now don't get me wrong I think Diana did a great job but she did not do better than Fantasia, I know you are probably white, and I am just saying that every time a black goes up against a white some racist has to say the black was terrible, but come on Diana didnt do that song I believe the justice that Fantasia did.

Fantasia's vocals are more powerful. Diana was relegated to the background towards the end. It was as if she knew it and was trying to compete with Fantasia to prove otherwise.

Not exactly. Because they were not singing with each other(if you look carefully you'll see that the lighting during the shots of Diana is red while the lighting throughout the shots of Fantasia is blue)

Diana and Fantasia both sang better the Grand Finale night when the winner was announced, and they both performed this song that night as well. The ending is amazing. The different styles they use to sing the songs form so well there. It seems as if it were a real duet. I love the both of them. That was a hard final for me to pick a favorite. All in all though man props for this video. You did a very very good job.
