@endthedisease Really funny how different countrys have fashion rules. In UK we should only wear white socks for sport and with trainers should only wear trainer socks AKA ankle socks. Wonder if they are from Uk and got it wrong or from states and got it right ? Wherever they are from they deffo boobed by not wearing a shirt when out in evening. Thats a no no everwhere surely ?
@knocking11 yes, not wearing a shirt would be called white trash, redneck or trailer trash here. Some places it is so common in the midwest that it is almost considered normal though.
@endthedisease White trash we call chavs. Class is lacking in every country I guess, last time I was in Thailand I saw a German couple walking around early evening shopping, the guy was in speedos with huge gut hanging and his wife or girlfriend in a bikini with flab hanging everywhere. Yuk I was off for a meal and it just about put me off. Russians also do this.
@endthedisease Well its not really that cheap anymore the Bhat is strong and Pattaya shops etc all put prices up. Koh Samui is my usual holiday spot and its dearer every year by a lot. I think the days of a cheap Thai trip are gone for now.
In America everyone wears white socks. In fact if you wear black/blue socks in school you would be laughed at as what we call a geek or a nerd.
