Overall, most people in those big cities, when compared to big cities from other parts of the world live pretty well. West palm is 2 counties north, and it's more than an hour away if you're driving in normal times of the day. It takes me an hour to get from Downtown to Hialeah sometimes, and that is still in Dade.
Most people from Palm Beach shit them selves coming into Miami. I know you have a few rough parts, but it's nothing you can compare to Dade county. Yeah, you have really rich people living next to a few poor people, but we have a lot more really poor people living next to a few rich people.

Miami in the last 10 years?... In the 80's cemetery's and and crypts where other (living) peoples homes... I am sad to see British reporters fallowing the same style as American reporters; "high drama low content".. This style of journalism makes things worse. This journalism is sending the message that conditions around us aren't that bad because of some hyped up poverty somewhere else.. it's not just Miami .. It is desensitizing and it scares people from facing the real facts.

First of all, mostly all big cities (includin miami of course) have good and bad areas. Overall, most people in those big cities, when compared to big cities from other parts of the world live pretty well. Their main problem is violence, but usually the people like in little haiti can afford food. In 80% of countrys in the world, the poor people in the big citys main problem is getting food, and living. See the difference:

Born and raised in Miami. The social and class divisions depicted in this video pretty much are prevalent in most major American cities. The past 5 years Broward county has had a worse crime rate per capita than Miami-Dade.

ALMOST EVERY CITY IN AMERICA has a bad side to it.
I live in Boston and there is just neighborhoods you stay out of..
East Boston and Dorchester...whoever watches news the shootings
and murders usually happen there.
All we can do is try to help...give more money for education and
developement in poor neighborhoods.

Boston has areas that are safe and that are not...if you watch the news here people always get stabbed and murdered in certain neighborhoods...for example my neighborhood is safe but 20 minutes away is East Boston which has a HUGE amounts of crime.....I used to live close to there that's how it goes all the poor immigrants live in that area...if they are lucky they move out after a few years

@Drazhenko Yeah It's hard to compare Miami to other places becuse we got so many third world mofo too, its kinda like a haitian/cuban/dominican/colombian ghetto. Language barriers, people from violent countries that refuse to blend into our society. LA has some of the same problems but their imigrants are alittle friendlier Mexicans. Cuban clump together and stick together more. Miami is fun but it has a different feel than any other place ive ever been.
