If you want to listen to some different time signature stuff check out Born of Osiris's Abstract Art, or pretty much any song by them. They usually play in different time signatures. @hxcfrankie yeah, they'll LAST for longer. that doesn't mean the string tone is the same.. if you play fresh strings, then play month old strings you'll hear a HUGE difference.

@JoshThomasPhoto go watch my cover of forever decay by the devil wears prada, which was around the time I just put those strings on. then come back to this video made a month later and see if you still agree that I have lost the tone. if anything the tone in this video sounds a lot better because I used different settings and different pedals as well as a compressor and EQ. tone isn't completely influenced by the age of the strings.
