Seriously, I really like the new stock, fast as hell. But what the heck is going on with the heating on the Victoria Line? It is way, way too hot. The stations are overheated, you can feel the heat radiating everywhere. And are the drivers having a joke? Do they leave the heating on from the morning startup?
I walked on one the other day and was nearly floored by the wall of heat in the carriage. It's not from people, it's radiating from somewhere. It's either heating or the motors underneath.
these trains are crap, they're too small and they are slow. A good metro system is the one in Hong Kong, once youve been on that, the LU can not compare
@cypher3103 there's a big difference however. when people say the london tube is amazing, they don't really talk about how fast and good the trains are. they talk about the history of the system, it's age, the size, the style, efficiency etc.
these are things you can not buy. honk kong may be faster, but is nothing but a brand new system that has no character. the london tube is more than just a metro system, remember that! it's a part of the city, witch is by the way just great!
@cypher3103 London Underground runs on some of the oldest railway track and signalling in the world (that is still in everyday passenger use). The Honk Kong Metro is new and has been created for the 21st Century!
Wow the history on these trains is incredible! i mean these operated when the beatles were growing and when kennedy was the president of the united states ahh i sound like a freak lol but i love the fact that we are using trains people 40 odd years ago used to go to work etc great vid by the way 5* :D
@i ride a bike to work everyday - 10 miles a day to be exact and it is safer for me not to stop at red lights in some situations because the roads are that bad
yep, the roads are bad, the tubes are bad and the buses are bad. sorry if i offend but this is factual about the awful london public transpotrt

10 times a week for the last 23 years during rush hour i've done this sh1t on this awful, overpriced, filthy, unbreathable, souless underground system where you are rammed in like cattle and usually have to wait 3 trains to get on one. Watching this is like having a nightmare.
Want to go one stop single? that will be £4.
Its disgusting. Only acceptable station is on the dockland route for the rich bankers comfortable commute.
your not the one who has to live in fear of somebody jumping in front of your traine bricks thrown through the cab window and the risk of being attack every day so tube users have no right to conplain and if they do then maybe they should get a job on the tube and then they will see how hard it actaury is
LOL, they are paid to do a job - it's not MY fault they have to endure everything that goes with it. Change profession i say r at least get a better wage from it.
You make it sound like every train is under seige everyday !
I ride a pushbike to work everyday and you are probably the kind of accidental twat that walks out in front of me, or drives his car too close to me or jumps the lights and does not see me.
yes they maybe well paid but no were does it say in the job description that being attack by stuped commuters with low I.Qs or chavs is part of the job so why do they deserve to be attacked
American here - I have travelled to London many times, and each time I see these trains it makes me happy, I love them! Thanks for posting these vids.

I miss these trains :(
I still see a couple of them active but I never manage to get on one, it's so sad that they're gone now.
