I use two Panasonic PV GS300 MiniDV cameras. Since they don't allow any external sync or other precise timecode controls, I use a test device to check the quality of sync (I think of it as phase) before I begin shooting. I also use a small LED flashlight to generate a visual 'clap' so its easy to bring the two videos into the right time relationship. Thanks for your interest!
all these look amazing, I still think the effect works best with subject in foreground playing against a backdrop.
Girl walking along the street as a good example. Big wide vistas don't really do it as well.
