Backflip so that when he slides backward upon landing he lands in Shaft's room. Then run into the edge and you can fight Drac. Beware, he's super hard. Even I can't beat him, and I beat Shaft after dying so many damn times trying to reach him!

When he first goes into the background and shoots the weird thingy at you, after you dodge it, ground slide to the left edge of the screen and stay ducked. he wont be able to hit you. when he shoots you with triangles, use hydrostorm to be immune.
i used a save file i've never beaten richter mode. and this might help its where i got this strategy: search sot richtre fight dracula. trust me i beat him on the psp its really really easy!

Done! Facing left was the missing piece! Thanks, man. You secured my absolute sovereignty over Drac as Richter. Each version of Drac that can be faced as Richter has been defeated by me as Richter.
Well thank you. To find the Catacombs I believe you have to go to the stadium(or whatever the stage was called) and i think. (I think) its one of the door ways that is near the area where you faced Richter. I can't remember off the top of my head.

the japanese version fo saturn had maria with different movements, you had to enter pad combinations ( much like alucard spells) to summon your animals, here you use your animal as sub-weapons, also no kicking here, lol other than that the game is pretty much the same
the Saturn maria is un official because it was not done by the original team and koji igarashi was not the producer koji igarashi hates the Saturn game
and for me it's bad that he hated saturn edition cause saturn version has some cool features like faster moving Alucard relic and some new items, also in saturn there are 2 new areas and for me Saturn Maria was cool but cheap, she was able to beat a boss with just one Combo xD
Who cares about Igarashi and his way of thinking. The Sega Saturn version still came out from Konami's will, done by a Konami internal development team (KCEN), and that makes it 100% official, even if this man neglects it by no reason.
I have a question on the ps1 version you used R1 to change into a wolf and R2 to change into a bat and L2 to change into mist how do you change into the form on PSp with too many buttons PSP only has L and R? reply please..
And, to put the saturn version Maria would also have added new variety to a character we already know from the other two games (Rondo and it's remake).

It doesn't look you read very well what people say. I'm complaining about that, she ain't got no kicks in the PSP Version. I'm complaining about she isn't the same saturn Maria. And I'm complaining about she came from an ultra-powerful version, to an ultra-weak one. Men, I still understand that you, who don't have played the saturn version, say that she's not worth: you can't play it, she's not worth. Well, saturn Maria is far better than psp Maria. Over-powered doesn't mean better. So it's still fun the "new" Maria, it means more challenge.
In the other hand you have Richter who sucks in Dracula X...(He gets to my nerves with the straight whip only) and in SOTN he is superman (flying uppercut)... who gets this?
Why don't you chill? The borders are PART of the compilation. They didn't accommodate the widescreen aspect ratio of the PSP, instead they left it on the normal aspect ratio that a PSX played on.
I knew she was going to be a failure... at least, this is what I assume from this... I like projectiles more than birds and cats for sure! I at least hope they kept all the kicks moves! But as she's shown in the video, this Maria gives me a fu**ing shit.
Maria never had kicks, and the birds were always her main weapon, so if you dunno what you are talking about: STFU. Saturn Maria was just a huge pile of shit.

And I was talking about the real Maria, as she was designed. I've played that shitty Saturn porting and she was way too powerfud and had some completely dull moves, like Suzaku turned into an owl familiar. Rondo Maria is totally different, and that's how she is supposed to play, not like some clone of Megaman.
Than that's it. We couldn't understand each other, but I respect your opinion then. And you respect mine: I too love original Maria, as she was a little girl, with girlie attacks (c'mon friendly animals and sound notes.. are kiddy attacks); when she's grown I've expected that her attacks are grown with her too, not always the same bird (also very weak).
I agree that as Maria grew, she have new attacks. Fighting with animals the way she does is just childish. In SotN, Maria is seventeen years old, I would think that she would have some powerful and impressive attacks. I mean look at Juste Belmont from HoD. He is sixteen in the game and look how powerful he is. I'm just saying that her attacks should be more advanced and adult-like.

I actually like that they're putting a "nerfed" maria in SOTN. She was pretty broken in the saturn version. Should be more of a challenge now.

It doesn't look you read very well what people say. I'm complaining about that, she ain't got no kicks in the PSP Version. I'm complaining about she isn't the same saturn Maria. And I'm complaining about she came from an ultra-powerful version, to an ultra-weak one. Men, I still understand that you, who don't have played the saturn version, say that she's not worth: you can't play it, she's not worth. Well, saturn Maria is far better than psp Maria. That's all :D

Over-powered doesn't mean better. So it's still fun the "new" Maria, it means more challenge.
In the other hand you have Richter who sucks in Dracula X...(He gets to my nerves with the straight whip only) and in SOTN he is superman (flying uppercut)... who gets this?

Why don't you chill? The borders are PART of the compilation. They didn't accommodate the widescreen aspect ratio of the PSP, instead they left it on the normal aspect ratio that a PSX played on.

I knew she was going to be a failure... at least, this is what I assume from this... I like projectiles more than birds and cats for sure! I at least hope they kept all the kicks moves! But as she's shown in the video, this Maria gives me a fu**ing shit.

Maria never had kicks, and the birds were always her main weapon, so if you dunno what you are talking about: STFU. Saturn Maria was just a huge pile of shit.

And I was talking about the real Maria, as she was designed. I've played that shitty Saturn porting and she was way too powerfud and had some completely dull moves, like Suzaku turned into an owl familiar. Rondo Maria is totally different, and that's how she is supposed to play, not like some clone of Megaman.

Than that's it. We couldn't understand each other, but I respect your opinion then. And you respect mine: I too love original Maria, as she was a little girl, with girlie attacks (c'mon friendly animals and sound notes.. are kiddy attacks); when she's grown I've expected that her attacks are grown with her too, not always the same bird (also very weak).

I agree that as Maria grew, she have new attacks. Fighting with animals the way she does is just childish. In SotN, Maria is seventeen years old, I would think that she would have some powerful and impressive attacks. I mean look at Juste Belmont from HoD. He is sixteen in the game and look how powerful he is. I'm just saying that her attacks should be more advanced and adult-like.

She's unlocked from the get go in the Japanese Saturn version. Not in any other except DXC.
