@violet0313 not true. I've fired both and they're pretty comparable, especially since 9mm guns tend to be lighter than .45s. Also, 9mm isn't that far behind .45 as far as energy is concerned. It fires a lighter bullet but at higher velocity.

It's the grip angle as well as the recoil mechanism that manages the heavy "push" of the 45 ACP cartridge. However, the Glock 21 is a "plastic gun" and by your statements not a "mans gun". However, it's all but replaced the 1911 in competitive shooting because of the ability to get a higher grip purchase on the gun, the recoil management system, and the reliability over a 1911.

@pyscobrand try to keep the magazines loaded for a few days or a week...it should decrease the tension of the spring inside the mag and you won't have that problem anymore, same shit happens with some AR-15 mags and that's what i did and haven't had a problem since.
