  • I personally think that Dolly should be skinny, but curvy. Barbra Streisand was the PERFECT casting choice for Dolly Levi. In this version though, Dolly is fat and sings too modern. Hello, Dolly! was set in the 1940's to 1950's, and that's the way Dolly should be singing. Also, this Dolly doesn't show very much emotion when she sings and can't act either. She isn't a good choice AT ALL for Dolly Levi. :(
