  • honest question; would devout followers/observers of Samhien find it hypocritical for real Christians to participate in this?

  • Actually, it's pronounced Sao-when.

  • Actually Saween was the Celtic God of the Dead.

  • Woo Woo Guys...we were aloud to do a watch the Samhain and see if there was anything "Paranormal" taking place. I wish I could post the whole video, but our discloser doesn't allow it, sorry, but we do keep something's private. But if you're having and event, lets us know, we would love to be there and if you let us, we'll be happy to show the world.

  • Weird???

Not sure what these guys were up to???

Didn't look like any Samhain gathering I know of...Sort of Samhain meets Most Haunted!

  • I didn't upload the entire ritual because I promised I wouldn't. You saw a taste of the investigation I did, I wanted to know if during the ritual anything paranormal could take place. Maybe in the future we will be aloud to post the whole ritual. Later's

  • Actuall its pronounced:

    Sam-hain in Modern English.

    Sow-in in Irish Gaelic.

    Sa-veen In Scots Gaelic.

Its all a matter of Choice as to what way one wishes to say it.

And yeah it means Summers End.

  • Very well done...love yeah

  • During my studying for Initiation, I read it meant "November" in Irish...

    That was wrong?

  • Actaully, it's pronounced sha-von sa is sha

  • It's pronounced 'sow(female pig)-in' and not 'saween'. Samhain doesn't mean November. It means, 'summer's end'.

  • yes and november is summers end, its just semantics

  • November means 'The 9th Month'. It's not just semantics.

  • November is Roman not Gaelic

  • Thank You. I first heard that inaccurate statement that 'Samhain' meant 'November' on the History Channel's 'Haunted History of Halloween' special a few years back. Since then, it seems like everybody is repeating it. Problem is, it's wrong. Samhain means 'Summer's End'. There is a Celtic month of 'Samios', meaning 'The month where Samhain falls/is celebrated', and this month does indeed coincide with our 'November'.

  • who does this version of pink floyd;s the wall?

  • Korn

  • Yay for Samhain!

  • Dude super Goth and wicked awesome. You should be on TV

  • Yes yes, Happy Halloween
