@stump229 He did. Right when he finished he Shamanistic training in Nagrand. He got word of Cairne's death. Both THrall and Baine understand the Cairne challenged Garrosh's honor Garrosh was unable to refuse or he would lose the respect of the entire Horde. But Garrosh did not want to fight Cairne so he raised the stakes to death hoping Cairne would back down. Cairne didn't so they commenced the Mak'Gora And Magatha who Garrosh trusted to bless his blade, poisoned it instead. Thrall understood.

If not for that Grimtotem treachery, Cairne would own Garrosh and become new Warchief of the Horde, and orcish leader would be most likely Eitrig.

Well since that did not happen, Horde can hope only for two things:

A) Now when the elements are calm Thrall will come back.

B) (you people will love this) Saurfang is going to come back from Northrend, Cleave Garrosh's ass and become Warchief of the Azeroth.

In lore the way we rez people does not exist, in lore if you are killed you die( expect DK's and stuff like that) they had to put ressurection into the game because as you can imagine people would get really annoyed if there character died that was it you had to start a new character.

Nah man. The grimtotem offered to bless/poison Garrosh's weapon,he never came to them. They used Garrosh's wrath to kill Cairne therefore. Why do you think they attacked Thunder bluff next? Garrosh never ordered them to do that. Therefore Garrosh didn't knew it was poisoned.

Read the novel, even after Cairne got poisoned he had the upper had until the poison took full effect. And even Garrosh saw the dishonor of what Margatha had done. Why do you think Garrosh refused to help Margatha and deemed her fate to whatever the earthmother saw fit. Cairne said it himself "And so, I who have lived my whole life with honor die betrayed" and thats what makes it so sad.
