a former janitor with his own photography studio faked this photo with a double exposure back in the early 90's when I was in high school. There, I killed it. Not real, he just wanted to spook the kids for fun.

And hey it's Bob! =D i think he retired now...the only 2 things that annoy me more than this are the vice principal and my english teacher.

Lived in Hibbing my entire life..attended all sorts of plays and been a part of all sorts of choir concerts in that very auditorium. and when you live in such a boring, geriatric town, you grow up hearing all sorts of stories like this. I graduated in '02 and never once in my 4 years did I hear of anybody else seeing a "ghost" besides Chuck. They went so far as to put pics of the supposed "ghost" in the back of my yearbook.  It was a pic of a student in my grade at the time. Same pics here.

The auditorium is just old. not creepy in anyway... haha i remember when the supreme court visited the entire auditorium slowly slumped their heads and eventually about all 1000 of us were sleeping rofl. a good 4 hour nap.

There are many different stories I've heard. I live in Hibbing, Minnesota and have attended Hibbing High school. One story is that there is a janitor ghost and when no one is in the halls and it's dead quiet you can hear footsteps, keys jingling and some say whistling. As for the Auditorium, I've heard that a little girl accidently fell off the balcony but I doubt if that's true. They guy in J47, I believe he had a heart attack and died in that very chair. Backstage the lights randomly go off&on

Those pictures are not even close to real. But, I spend so much time in this theatre, and have seen, heard, and felt things. Mostly upstairs in the make up and dressing rooms.

There are definitly ghosts in out school. Especially in the theatre.

ok this is all fake. i live in hibbing and go 2 the school and i was in drama on stage and everything so i have been in there a lot and for all most all hours of the day @ some practices.

you guys all beleive anything any one says. first off, the seat, J47, is around 40 feet away from the balcony. i doubt anyone can jump that far. second, teachers here and principles have told the story about what has happened over and over again. i have lived in hibbing my whole life and have gone to it for 4 years. my older sister has gone to it for 6. i know the story, and a man jumping off the balcony isnt true.

Well if you read your bible, even there it speaks of spirits, Hmm, think a ghost is the same thing as a spirit? As for the school being haunted, I cant except that for myself, I never saw anything .

I'm also wondering about the rumor? that Paranormal State may be coming to the school or if you know who was just there that saw, well - you know what he saw that he described as "unfriendly" in the balcony.
