  • Im in tulsa Oklahoma and were doing this show! (:

  • im in knoxville tennessee and were doing this production!

  • Two people missed the like button D:

Anyway, this girl an sing!!!! I know 3 people and only three who could ever dream of belting out a song like that . Amazing

  • there is like no distinct choreography in this number

  • Doesnt the chorus come on straight away on the first ' aint it good?' thats how we do it at my CPCA thing ;)

  • WOW main singer is amazing!

  • the choreography is kinda umm dumb sorry but you guys sound fuckin amazing!

  • Dont be ridiculous, its a play not a movie. its just to complete the musical aspect

  • The chorus that comes on half way through... wouldn't those be all the people that died in the flood? Interesting choice...

  • @Iculwell

Well, they're technically storytellers, so they're there for effect.

  • sorry for the late reply.

The storytellers are supposed to be angels in this scene.

  • @lculwell it's supposed to be all the people from other areas that survived the flood

  • She was 17 when this was made

  • Holy shit!! How old are you?! You look to me like you're 14-15. But you sound SOO good. Ain't it good?! lol good job!!! One of the best I've ever heard.

  • I wished you would have held out your phrases out a little more..everything was cut off..

  • thats how the phrases r ment to be. well that how ive heard it done everytime. even on broadway its done lik that.

  • Children of Eden has never been on Broadway

  • I think it has been recently, I might be wrong though :)

  • I just have to ask if this is Siegel High in TN. I think my Chorus teacher from Oakland went over there and I remember doing this in my high school. So much fun!!!

  • yes it is

  • this is awesome. I remember when we did it and how much fun we had. Hope you guys had a similar experience!

  • The choir was very impressive as well. Good blending, power within the sections and as a whole, as almost "gospel" sound.

Also, alot of the choirs I've heard on here made those high soprano notes a little painful, these guys delivered those well.

  • Her voice is phenomenal. Her performance needs some work (she needs to act as a jubilant Mama Noah, that's why this song is gospel, for the joy of the moment).

But I was very impressed with her vocals. As long as she keeps her voice in shape, she may have a bright future singing.

  • geez youtubers are harsh but all of siegel knows you rock sooo ha to all yall

    much loves katherine clair!!!

  • AMAZING.

It's also funny, some of that choreography was almost identical to my high school's production. XD

  • I played Mama Noah and this really isn't a easy song to sing i had layringitis for a week after well worth it

  • You've got to be careful singing that high in belt. If you've got the range, you've warmed up your voice and you've practiced the song, then that shouldn't happen.

  • ...yeah...right around the end it kinda when flat...and pretty bad. other than that I thought it was a great preformance and the chorus kicked ass.

  • thank you for belting : )

  • I kno right!!!

  • Yes, She can very fairly well. The chorus had suprisingly good harmony. However, the as a dance choreographer, the choreography was pretty "blah". And the lead vocalist just stood there.... uh.... so she must study voice, but not PERFORMANCE. However, if she ever wants to move further in her "Career" she is going to need some guidence in her performance.

  • it is true though, a blend is good.....try not to kill your voice!

  • I swear girl, you are channeling Shoshana Bean. Incredible. When you hit those high A flats (i think they are...or maybe they're A's...in which case its even more impressive!) I got shivers.

i do agree though that the choreography is a little stale...KC, dance around more! enjoy yourself! It's gospel! but wow, incredible.

  • The "Sweet" note you're talking about is a G#.

Unbelieveable. But try to be careful about over-doing a high belt so young!

  • Which would be the same as a A flat.

  • incredible voice

  • wow i thought this girl was really really really good, but i hated how she just stood there and sang... i don't konw if that's what's she's suppose to do, but it kinda bugged me...

    but great voice!

    kayley

i am also in this is november with wwrycats! btw, we are like the best drama group ever!

  • you all sound great. we did this show when i was in high school. :)

  • there is definetly something different and special about her voice. the tone is beautiful.

she will definetly make it onto broadway or something.

  • wow!amazing voice!

    beautiful range!

  • Whoo, KC W! hey, beautiful voice, utterly and completely. ANd, a high school student, marvelous.

  • she's amazing!!!

  • i was diappointed that she didn't go for the high note at the very end ("to see the SUUUUN again")...she definitely had it in her register.

    But otherwise...amazing.

  • VERY good opening. You have an inherently lovely voice. Only second to Xandra in my opinion.

  • Whoa...posted that without listening to the whole thing. Watch the screaming. Other than that you have a very nice voice.

  • I have seen this show performed about 14 times, and this is not only the youngest Mama Noah I have seen, but by far the best!! All of my best wishes with you in your singing career, and I hope to see you on Broadway someday!!

  • Ellen's niece does rock! Great diction, great performerly and inviting stage presence. Great ability to make key and tempo changes, and to take the audience along. A lovely early point in a voice that can do much for God and good.

Work the head voice! There's more there up top, and you'll love having it!

Congrats from Ellen's oldest (!) friend.

  • this girl is AMAZING for a high school student -- such a gorgeous tone to her voice. i hope she keeps going with performing, because she really has something special.

  • Mamma Noah Rocks the house! Whoohoo!! :0)

  • My sister rocks!!! :)
