Should a visitor to the us not shake hands? It's just the polite way over there. The world has differences. Since when showing respect equals showing weakness? It might appear shocking at first, but try to keep an open mind and see this in context: it's just the polite way.

When Obama bows to a King, he may feel that he is honoring the practices of that culture -- but MORE IMPORTANTLY he is DISHONORING the brave men and women who fought the Revolutionary War so that an ordinary person does not have to bow to aristocracy. When a President greets another head of state as an equal, especially an inherited king or emperor, he is asserting that all people are created equal. Do you get it now?
