@OrangeCounty15OH3 - Of course you desire to resort to violence because that's your nature. It was negroes like you the KKK use to hang. Of course, the media likes to make it seem like the KKK's victims were nice people. They weren't! They were thugs like the ones who live in your hood.
@OrangeCounty15OH3 - Black ghettos all across the world are like yours. You don't see White neighborhoods like that. Again, it's just your nature to be violent. That's why I hate you. The U.S. gives you free housing & food for your race, even though you completely destory every housing project you are given by making it uninhabitable by civilized standards by your corruption & willingness to make every nigger neighborhood a hotbed of drugs, violence, prostitution, & filth.
To make matters worst - We have to deal with dickless, white liberal pussies defending your kind & trying to make excuses for your actions by blaming the victims. The laws of the United States of America should only apply to WHITE PEOPLE. Not a bunch of savages. If there was any justice, there would be no ghettos & gangs, & you'd all be kept under control like you use to, & would be serving the White man. This country was a much safer place then.
@OrangeCounty15OH3 - Thank you by the way for living in the hood, & doing the KKK's work for them. The KKK doesn't have to go after you guys anymore because you all spend more time hurting each other then the KKK ever did.
@BringTheNoise1 - You're right. I fucking hate niggers. Look at the ghettos if you need a reason why. And they corrupt our youth with their ways, creating an entire generation of lazy, immature criminals with their promotion of poor grammar, their sloppy way of dressing, their drug use, & their violence. The only good nigger is a dead nigger.
Gang members don't just fuck with anyone random, that's what you whit folks will never understand, when you hear rappers saying FUCK THE POLICE it's because some of those pigs are crooked as fuck, but a white guy wouldn't know that living in his nice neighborhood, in the ghetto some cops will beat your ass just because theyre having a bad day, that's another thing white people don't have to deal with, in conclusion, FUCK THA POLICE!!!!
@OrangeCounty15OH3 - Again, those gang members are guilty of something. So they deserve what they get. No one just hates for the sake of it. Take me for example - I hate your kind because you're dangerous, and not worthy of enjoying the rights this country has provided. It was never intended to be for you.
"FUCK THA POLICE" - Again, why is horrible grammar and spelling such a "tight" thing to your people?
@OrangeCounty15OH3 - That you for proving my point. You're an animal. All you care about is fucking and violence. That's why people like you need to either be killed or enslaved.
What I'd like to know is how come no one is complaining about the abuses that take place in ghettos all across the United States of America? Or the bullying that takes place in inner-city schools? Christ, this worthless faggot has always been such a bullshit artist. It's a shame no one ever emptied an oozy into his lower abdomen while raping his ugly wife.
@BringTheNoise1 - You're disgusting. You have a evil mindset. It's a shame that a criminal such as yourself gets to have the same rights as others. You take advantage of this great country. People like you deserve to be "abused" by the police. Infact, most people who get abused by the police, and/or hate the police are usually of guilty of something, and are hardly innocent victims.
Too many Americans just don't desire for there to be any laws or order at all.
@Zeeboe Meh @ your blatant racism. I am white, obey the law, and have worked with law enforcement many times. You are assuming I'm black because you're typical white trash. Mr. Heston has been accused of child molestation more than once, and I tend to believe those were not false accusations. He paid off victims and it never really went main stream. He's slime. I don't even have to know you to understand you're probably some backwards southern hick. Charlie was a sick man.
I've just read the lyrics and listened to the song about the sodomy, and I don't think Charlton Heston understood the lyrics right. I'm pretty sure Ice-T only mentions Tipper Gore's nieces at one point in the song, and then talks about sodomising someone else later in the song.
Also the cop killer song was only about killing racist cops, rather than every cop. It just seems to him that every cop is like that, cos he's probably experienced a lot of racism.
@Zeeboe Actually you are the perfect example of what I was talking about. Now that you've provided us with this, why don't you take a stroll off the nearest 10 storey rooftop.
@SEB1991SEB - I'm not the one living in ghettos, killing and hurting people all the time, and then going to schools and bullying people, am I? @SonicobbsessedR2 - You know what is more amusing? The way gang members describe things. For example, one criminal on here typed that "Ice T is da shit".

@1014Cameron - Honest question - Why do people like you have such horrible spelling and grammar? Are you even aware? Do you even try to speak like a mature adult, or are you content with speaking like a moron?
@2jztrd - And fuck you too, you racist asshole. Yes, thank goodness we don't live where you do. You're all just so busy hurting, bullying, and killing each other that I'd be okay with just giving you your own island like "Escape from New York". You don't deserve to have the same rights as decent Americans.
The reason why cops "abuse" you is because you're violent & you hurt innocent people, & you deserve to get a taste of your own meds.
@Zeeboe why do you say that, do you even know about hip-hop and music, he expresses his hate against corrupt cops not all cops, so I'm guessing you are white and since you are not a minority race you have never experienced what the blacks and mexicans went through in the 90's with the whole police situation in LA.
@D4N13L831 - And what about innocent people (including Blacks and Mexicans) that get bullied and mugged by violent gang members? That's why the police are hard on them.
@Zeeboe its not like gangbangers go out and target innocent people gangbangers target gangbangers, some people just die in the crossfire but thats not a good reason to pull over a black or mexican for something so simple and just beat the shit out of them c'mon have some sense man, a good example is the rodney king beating which was injustice
Charlton Heston is incredible. I completely agree with him. The part about sodomy is abhorrent. And I'm glad he no longer associates with such a company. Charlton Heston is a great contribution to people who are educated and will listen to what they are really listening to.
We all know that you cannot yell fire in an auditorium when their is no fire and you cannt threaten someone with verbal language and for someone not to think it is disgraceful to advocate the killing of a police officer or anyone is a sick individual.
@JDarkley What he is doing here is advocating on behalf of free will, the free will of the stock holders to hold their company accountable. There is nothing at all wrong with that.
@jbranstetter04 Accountable of what? Signing an artist they ("they" being the stockholders) didn't like but apparently didn't know about until Mr. Heston starts reading off some of the more disagreeable lyrics? No, he was manipulating them to serve his own agenda. Sure Time-Warner never offered him another gig, but he's Charlton "Moses Himself" Heston, it's not like he's ever had trouble finding work. No, this was Mr. Heston being a crotchety old man with nothing better to do with his time.
@JDarkley The stockholders have their own brains. They can make up their own minds. Most people with influence will use it to further what they believe. There is nothing wrong with that. Is there?
@jbranstetter04 The stockholder were obviously an easily swayed crowd incapable of making up their own minds without someone else's guidance. Seeing as this was the 90s and everyone was easily swayed by this social phenomenon known as "Political Correctness", these people were just a bunch of easily-offended sheep and such people shouldn't be in charge of what media I choose to consume. If I-Tea wanted to make an album about sodomy and Satan worship and I wanted to buy it, (cont.)
...Then it is his God-given right to make that album if Time/Warner gives him the materials to do so and it is my God-given right to buy it. And to be perfectly frank, Mr. Heston does not deserve such a position of influence. He is an actor, or "professional liar" to quote Morgan Freeman. He has made a career of manipulating emotions. While on-screen, he does it for entertainment. While on a soapbox, he does it to disparage those he happens not to agree with. I find that very cowardly.
@PANT3RA Did he say he was against the first amendment? No he did not. He was only telling the stock holders of a company that they have a say in what their company does and does not do.
@jbranstetter04 And the brady campaign says they aren't against the 2nd amendment, they just like to wine n bitch about how "scary" those ar-15s and ak-47s look. He's a little hypocritical bitch that does more harm to the constitution than good when his contradicting videos like this come out.
@jbranstetter04 Yet he acts like free speech when taken into an extreme such as what Ice T did should be regulated. Not to say he isn't hypocritical even when it comes to the 2nd amendment, since he afterall, advocated background checks on firearms. I guess he doesn't understand what "shall not be infringed" means, nor does he understand what "congress shall make no law" in regards to the 1st amendment. Hypocrites are always funny though.
@PANT3RA Quote me the words in his speech where he wants the government to regulate the speech of Ice T? Quote me when he "advocated" for background checks?
@PANT3RA Simple fact. No NRA, no gun rights. Please tell me the group that has done more for our rights than the NRA. There is no group or organization. You do not just get whatever it is that you want just because you want it or you think that it's the right thing. That is not how it works in real life. Surly you know this. And yes, you can compromise your rights when the other choice is losing them. Live for another day to take them back when you convince more to come to your side.
@jbranstetter04 Doesn't change the fact they're hypocrites. Other choice is losing them if we don't "compromise" them? You must not do a lot of reading, especially with anything that has to do with history. Compromising is just one step closer to a total police state. You seem to have forgot why the 2nd amendment was put in place. It wasn't for hunting, it was for tyrannical hypocrites such as neo-conservatives who like to squelch those who disagree, and for gun grabbing liberals.
Heston supports the NRA, and he condemns Ice-T and Marilyn Manson. after Columbine, MM cancelled his show that night in sympathy despite being no way linked to the tragedy and his gig was also in another state. The NRA meeting went ahead in Columbine. They'll (heston, government, censors, PMRC etc) say whatever to get you to rise up against certain artists and they'll quote lyrics with their own observations disregarding the artists viewpoint, in a way to get you on their side.
I find it highly ironic that Tracy Marrow aka Ice-T went from producing "Cop Killer" to working as an actor on Law and Order SVU. He must not believe everything he said.
The most interesting thing about this older than dirt, almost irrelevant controversy, is that people still think "Cop Killer" is a rap song credited solely to Ice-T. Shows you how many people haven't actually heard the song or can't tell the difference between rap/hip-hop and punk or metal (I'm leaning toward the former). Still doesn't excuse not knowing who the actual band is that wrote this song some people are still steamed over ... but that's what a relevant protest should do, I guess.
so tha fuck what? If ice t wanna rap about killin cops then let him rap about killin cops. It aint like he ever killed anybody it's just a SONG. and don't blame the media for bad influences, the album got an explicit label on it. If u let your kids listen to that, it's YOUR fault. not as white people like to say "gangster rap" about gang banging. fuckin marks
Fuck Pigs, I'm from the UK and they are no different from the US pigs, all complete assholes and wankers, they abuse their authority in whatever country they're in.
At best they will do half a job, but I would love to know what country that pig is in.
Ice-T wrote the song as a PROTEST against police abuse and murder. The NRA touts guns as a bulwark against the encroaching power of the state. The implication of Ice-T's song is that he is very angry, and has fantasies of revenge against the police due to past abuse of power and violence. The NRA implies that this vigilantism is acceptable in some circumstances. Such as police murdering citizens.
He seems angry about something they're both more or less in agreement about.
@Konform2zoidberg The NRA stands for the defense of freedom when the constitution i.e.natural law fails to protect citizens. Ice-T stands for vengeance against the individuals who enforce the political laws of the nation or police officers. Defense and revenge are two vastly separate ideas.
Freedom of speech should not be controlled by the rich like this old man that thinks he's above it because he had stock in Timewarner . He may not agree with Ice T's song lyrics that's ok but let's not allow the rich to take our rights or freedoms shame on him and shame on Timewarner for dropping Ice T the great.
@kaotik1981 Body Count, though fronted by a Ice-T who also made rap/hip hop music, was not a rap group, but a crossover thrash (thrash metal/hardcore punk) band. They had more in common with D.R.I., The Mentors, Hirax, Corrosion of Conformity, Biohazard, Carnivore, Cryptic Slaughter, Cro-Mags, etc. than they did with any hip-hop group of the era.)
@kaotik1981 Not sure what "pimp tunes" means, but let it be known that I'm a big fan of good hip-hop and a lot of creativity goes into crafting a good beat and lyrics that are clever, thought-provoking, rhythmically pleasing or complex, all with a vocal persona that has to be entertaining across an album. Ice-T actually isn't one of my all-time favorite rappers, but he's no boring Gucci Mane or Rick Ross either. But anyway, Body Count also used "real" instruments, as in rock instruments.
@ClavicleofSolomon Pimp tunes: It's todays shit that is only about the big rims on a car and the sluts without actually having anything to say. You know, the MTV garbage. I've heard body count BTW, youtube is an abundant place for banned songs :)
I think the late Mr. Heston was largely right...the language in music; not just rap ...is discusting in generally and appeals to the lowest aspects of humanity...I quit watching the Grammys a long time ago since too many of the people appeared like hookers...show that boob job they spend money for or the men looked like they just got done cleaning their car and wore the same attire.....they sucked., I'd rather watch grass grow than these folks who no one will care about int 10 years
It's understandable that one would take offense to this song, but I don;t think its advocating killing cops. All Ice-T and Body Count were doing was invoking their freedom of speech I'm Canadian, but from an outsider looking in, aren't Americans all about freedom? All this song is about is a "what if the shoe was on the other foot"?mentality. Its not surprising that that shocked white upper middle class America,
@YunGProphetLove oh, geez, you're another one of these wacky Tom Cruise Sci-fi "religion" types. I'll stick to Jesus that view the good in everyone. I'm not interested in your Star Wars religion, where you view everyone who disagrees with you is Darth Vader. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". "From my cold dead hands". I assume you're a nutbugger but I forgive you for you know not what you say and do.You can keep your beam me, Scotty "religion".
the issue isn't whether cop killer is free speech or not, the issue is purely whether time warner should support and endorse such a artist, obviously ice-t can say what he wants but that doesnt mean time warner had to endorse it. Furthermore i Chuck is my hero and i hope to meet him someday in Heaven .
@michaelclarkemc and what if the "cops are "brothers" and what if the "brothers" are terrorizing the Black community? Don't side with violent criminals just becuase they're Black. Also don't curse cops simply becuase they're Whiye.
I don't think Chuck Heston was ever alive off the great silver screen. He was a ghoul and a merchant of death when he wasn't preening as moving sculpture.
What a big dumb clown. Totally misrepresenting the spirit of that song. I don't feel sorry for him a bit for Michael Moore's sloppy ambush of him in 'Bowling for Columbine.' That was merely comeuppance of some of Chucky's sins.
Actually he was a merchant of freedom. That you do not recognize that shows us a lot about you. You should pray every night that you will some day be one tenth the defender of freedom that he was. But then again, the odds are that you do not pray.
And the fact you'd say something so insane about someone you know nothing about, says far more about you, than my pointed comment on a specific video, says about me. That's about as relevant as if one said: 'you probably don't donate to Doctors Without Boarders
I guess I am alone here. I love Ice T and I support Charlton with regards gun rights. I also Support the right of ICE T to say what the fuck he likes. If anyone thinks cop killer is really advocating murder they are an idiot..
@worldfullofcunts So you can disagree with a person on one issue and not feel the need to demonize him or call him names. That is fascinating. Is there a name for that kind of thinking? Can it be taught in a classroom?
@jbranstetter04 Ha ha, yes, it is of course, tolerance..I wasn't suggesting CH is an idiot either.I would have to say he is misinformed on this particular issue imo.But yeah I agree he was a great man who stood up for civil rights at the height of his abilities. He is painted as a great man who went crazy old age. I would say is wrong he was a great man, who imo became coming from a certain generation and perhaps sometimes putting decorum before rightful protest speech.
@jbranstetter04 Overall though, the idea the he was a great man who became a crazy man is a false one, I will never garee with him on EVERYTHING, but his overall position through the years is consistantly, for decency, equality, freedom, manners (hence the ice t thing, which being of his generation I DO understand), walking with MLK and defending the right to bear arms, is entirely consistent, people need to get their head out their arse and recognise this fact.
@worldfullofcunts Many don't know that some of the original gun laws were aimed at the freed blacks in the south. Also, blacks in the 60's used to march sometimes with their rifles to show that they were free. This came to an end when states made laws against it. So yes, he was consistent in our opinion.
This is really frustrating because he did what all politicians would do about any situation like this. Instead of wondering why someone would make a song like this. He just sat back, listened to the song blindly and didn't actually THINK about it at all.
@poopascoop4eva "how about him being the spokesman of the nra "
Yes, how about it (he was actually the President of it for 5 years, a record). He worked for what he believed in. He fought to retain our Constitutional rights as citizens of the United States of America. Do you have a problem with that?
Mr. Heston seems to be off here. The reason the song was a "cash cow," was because of the attention people like himself provided to it, and the only people concerned that Ice-T "was black," seemed to be some of the folks protesting against the song.
@TheForgottenFlesh He spoke against what he thought of as destructive speech. He was free to do that. It was his opinion. Then the free stockholders did as they chose to do. It was all freedom at its best.
@jbranstetter04 Then I guess you didn't listen to the lyrics. The song's meaning is explained in the song's opening.
I think it's downright laughable that "I Shot The Sheirif" is considered a classic and no one has a problem with it, yet "Cop Killer" is deemed offensive. All just a ploy to bash music that they didn't grow up with.
I always hated 'I Shot The Sheriff'. It's one of the weakest Reggae songs (which is celebrated) imo, but that's beside the point. I find the message offensive.
@jbranstetter04 What I have failed to see in this conversation, is the acknowledgment of the fact that Charlton Heston did speak of giving *any* opinions about 'Cop Killer'. If anything, the words he spoke were not his own, but Ice-T's.
If anyone wants to get in a righteous fury against these words, it seems logical to me that they should get angry with the man who wrote them.
Cop killer is a great song Ice t is tellin bout how it was back in the 70s &80s as a black there were cops Beatin us blacks just cuz we hung out with people all I have to say and I quote nwa " FUCK THE POLICE"
Charlton Heston and the NRA are the people who are responsible for the guns that are being sold and crossing the border to the druglords in Mexico. Thanks to them the Mexican Government is outnumbered by semi automatics, AK47's, missle launchers, Grenades, M16,Beretta 92F/FS, Bullet proof Vests, Gas Masks, and Radar Scopes, All These weapons are being sold in the black market by various people in the U.S.A. including the military. There is more blood on Hestons and the NRA's hands than ICE T's.
@fuego2015 Great sarcasm. I agree with you 100% that it is not the NRA or the American people who are responsible for arming the drug lords of Mexico. The average American does not even own most of what you listed.

You people deserve to be laughed at.

Charlton Heston: He's all about the right to bear arms, but he seems to have a problem with free speech.
JDarkley 3 months ago 4
@JDarkley What he is doing here is advocating on behalf of free will, the free will of the stock holders to hold their company accountable. There is nothing at all wrong with that.
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 Accountable of what? Signing an artist they ("they" being the stockholders) didn't like but apparently didn't know about until Mr. Heston starts reading off some of the more disagreeable lyrics? No, he was manipulating them to serve his own agenda. Sure Time-Warner never offered him another gig, but he's Charlton "Moses Himself" Heston, it's not like he's ever had trouble finding work. No, this was Mr. Heston being a crotchety old man with nothing better to do with his time.
JDarkley 3 months ago
@JDarkley The stockholders have their own brains. They can make up their own minds. Most people with influence will use it to further what they believe. There is nothing wrong with that. Is there?
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 The stockholder were obviously an easily swayed crowd incapable of making up their own minds without someone else's guidance. Seeing as this was the 90s and everyone was easily swayed by this social phenomenon known as "Political Correctness", these people were just a bunch of easily-offended sheep and such people shouldn't be in charge of what media I choose to consume. If I-Tea wanted to make an album about sodomy and Satan worship and I wanted to buy it, (cont.)
JDarkley 3 months ago
...Then it is his God-given right to make that album if Time/Warner gives him the materials to do so and it is my God-given right to buy it.

He was only telling the stock holders of a company that they have a say in what their company does and does not do.
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 And the brady campaign says they aren't against the 2nd amendment, they just like to wine n bitch about how "scary" those ar-15s and ak-47s look. He's a little hypocritical bitch that does more harm to the constitution than good when his contradicting videos like this come out.
PANT3RA 3 months ago
@PANT3RA You confuse the issues. He is only exercising his first amendment of free speech. Why do you have a problem with it?
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 Yet he acts like free speech when taken into an extreme such as what Ice T did should be regulated. Not to say he isn't hypocritical even when it comes to the 2nd amendment, since he afterall, advocated background checks on firearms. I guess he doesn't understand what "shall not be infringed" means, nor does he understand what "congress shall make no law" in regards to the 1st amendment. Hypocrites are always funny though.
PANT3RA 3 months ago
@PANT3RA Quote me the words in his speech where he wants the government to regulate the speech of Ice T? Quote me when he "advocated" for background checks?
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 Look up the NRA's stance on background checks. A bunch of liberals masked as "constitutionalists"
PANT3RA 3 months ago
@PANT3RA Simple fact. No NRA, no gun rights. Please tell me the group that has done more for our rights than the NRA. There is no group or organization. You do not just get whatever it is that you want just because you want it or you think that it's the right thing. That is not how it works in real life. Surly you know this. And yes, you can compromise your rights when the other choice is losing them. Live for another day to take them back when you convince more to come to your side.
jbranstetter04 3 months ago
@jbranstetter04 Doesn't change the fact they're hypocrites. Other choice is losing them if we don't "compromise" them? You must not do a lot of reading, especially with anything that has to do with history. Compromising is just one step closer to a total police state. You seem to have forgot why the 2nd amendment was put in place. It wasn't for hunting, it was for tyrannical hypocrites such as neo-conservatives who like to squelch those who disagree, and for gun grabbing liberals.
PANT3RA 3 months ago
@PANT3RA Thanks for the information. I will do some reading on our founders and find out what they thought about neo-conservatives and liberals.

I'm confused.
Konform2zoidberg 7 months ago 3
@Konform2zoidberg Well it's too late, Heston is gone; he has left the building.....
jbranstetter04 7 months ago
@Konform2zoidberg The NRA stands for the defense of freedom when the constitution i.e.natural law fails to protect citizens. Ice-T stands for vengeance against the individuals who enforce the political laws of the nation or police officers. Defense and revenge are two vastly separate ideas.

@kaotik1981 Body Count, though fronted by a Ice-T who also made rap/hip hop music, was not a rap group, but a crossover thrash (thrash metal/hardcore punk) band. They had more in common with D.R.I., The Mentors, Hirax, Corrosion of Conformity, Biohazard, Carnivore, Cryptic Slaughter, Cro-Mags, etc. than they did with any hip-hop group of the era.)

kaotik1981 4 months ago
@kaotik1981 Not sure what "pimp tunes" means, but let it be known that I'm a big fan of good hip-hop and a lot of creativity goes into crafting a good beat and lyrics that are clever, thought-provoking, rhythmically pleasing or complex, all with a vocal persona that has to be entertaining across an album. Ice-T actually isn't one of my all-time favorite rappers, but he's no boring Gucci Mane or Rick Ross either. But anyway, Body Count also used "real" instruments, as in rock instruments.

@jbranstetter04 "Before he died."
FungusMossGnosis 5 months ago
@FungusMossGnosis "He was a ghoul and a merchant of death"
Actually he was a merchant of freedom. That you do not recognize that shows us a lot about you. You should pray every night that you will some day be one tenth the defender of freedom that he was. But then again, the odds are that you do not pray.
jbranstetter04 5 months ago
@jbranstetter04 "Actually he was a merchant of freedom."
Easy to say. And quite meaningless.
"...the odds are that you do not pray."
And the fact you'd say something so insane about someone you know nothing about, says far more about you, than my pointed comment on a specific video, says about me. That's about as relevant as if one said: 'you probably don't donate to Doctors Without Boarders

@worldfullofcunts So you can disagree with a person on one issue and not feel the need to demonize him or call him names. That is fascinating. Is there a name for that kind of thinking? Can it be taught in a classroom?
jbranstetter04 1 year ago
@jbranstetter04 Ha ha, yes, it is of course, tolerance..I wasn't suggesting CH is an idiot either.I would have to say he is misinformed on this particular issue imo.But yeah I agree he was a great man who stood up for civil rights at the height of his abilities. He is painted as a great man who went crazy old age. I would say is wrong he was a great man, who imo became coming from a certain generation and perhaps sometimes putting decorum before rightful protest speech.
worldfullofcunts 1 year ago
@jbranstetter04 Overall though, the idea the he was a great man who became a crazy man is a false one, I will never garee with him on EVERYTHING, but his overall position through the years is consistantly, for decency, equality, freedom, manners (hence the ice t thing, which being of his generation I DO understand), walking with MLK and defending the right to bear arms, is entirely consistent, people need to get their head out their arse and recognise this fact.
worldfullofcunts 1 year ago
@worldfullofcunts Many don't know that some of the original gun laws were aimed at the freed blacks in the south. Also, blacks in the 60's used to march sometimes with their rifles to show that they were free. This came to an end when states made laws against it. So yes, he was consistent in our opinion.

Mr. Heston seems to be off here. The reason the song was a "cash cow," was because of the attention people like himself provided to it, and the only people concerned that Ice-T "was black," seemed to be some of the folks protesting against the song.

@jbranstetter04 I have a problem with obviously not caring for little girls who were killed by guns.
Plus I love how he ignores the message behind Cop Killer. It's about standing up against police brutality. Nothing wrong with that.
How can he support one right and go against another (Free speech).
TheForgottenFlesh 1 year ago
@TheForgottenFlesh He spoke against what he thought of as destructive speech. He was free to do that. It was his opinion. Then the free stockholders did as they chose to do. It was all freedom at its best.
jbranstetter04 1 year ago
@jbranstetter04 Then he obviously didn't get the memo about corrupt law officials and police brutality if he thought it was a destructive speech.

jbranstetter04 1 year ago
@jbranstetter04 Then I guess you didn't listen to the lyrics. The song's meaning is explained in the song's opening.
I think it's downright laughable that "I Shot The Sheirif" is considered a classic and no one has a problem with it, yet "Cop Killer" is deemed offensive. All just a ploy to bash music that they didn't grow up with.
