i heard this song yesterday of AIR Rainbow (of course the other private radio stations were busy playing non-sense remixes which is not music really) at night. i am glad i found the video here. Rafi ji inspires not just the old generations but even youngsters like me. long live his music.

In case someone wonders, by Meena's bashfulness I mean the expressions of mortification on her face as she feels embarrassed before the whole community. A rural belle has to preserve her image of modesty, after all. BB's love, no matter how pure and devoted, couldn't be that public in traditional Indian culture.

Indeed there are,Yuan. Many emigrated from within the Indian Jewish community, parts of it with roots going back more than 2000 years. Acclaimed character-actor David and actresses Sulochana and Nadira, for example, were Jewish. Other Indians in Israel are businessmen, scholars,etc.
