It would be helpfull if you could show a shot of you pallete. Also a look at the photo you are working from would help understand how you are interpreting the scene.
I like the way you get a feel of depth with the trees on the right.
I will be cutting some boards to attach my paper to the sizes I paint. What angel are you painting at? I do have some tube paint on the way I was having trouble with my one inch hake with the half pans I have. Great work my friend.
@henrycems the angle of my board is just slightly off vertical. Using half pans with the hake I'd imagine is a nightmare. What I do is squeeze a large amount of each colour onto the palette and then allow to dry so effectively you end up with very large pans. Then you can get plenty of colour onto the brush. Of course, you can also use the paint wet which can provide some very good results.
