i readed in one page that the most powerfull pirates are the omega pirate and the alpha pirate, so.... why we just fight the omega pirate??? in a container is the alpha pirate, but it don´t moves

@fightmeister the flame trower is in phazon mines first level when you find for first time the wawe trooper, the ice spreader it is in magmoor caverns in a broken tunel but to get it you need super bombs, and wawe buster is in chozo ruins in the place you find the ball mode and up there is a wawe door, enter there and destrolle all the damaged pilars with super missile

@fightmeister Ice spreader is in Magmoor caverns on the hexoganol bridge with broken windows. Flame thrower is just inside the Space pirate hideout, behind a door, and the wave buster is in the chozo ruins where you get one of the artifacts under water, its WAY up on top of that place.

I got so pissed at this fight because I didnt know power bombs worked on him and the enemies so I was sitting there chipping away at his shells with my little missles

I just got to say though you still got fucking lucky on this, the grunts gave you no trouble and rand around like idiots, they always deal me the most damage in that fight pelting me from afar when they are unreachable.

this makes you wonder, dark samus could actually be the omega pirate becasue look at it this way omega pirate-samus-metroid prime-darn samus, it originated from the omega pirate :P

@Andyrolled No. The Metroid Prime ate a lot of Phazon and evolved into Metroid Prime. At the end of the game it tries to kill Samus but she escapes. The Phazon Suit was absorbed by the Metroid. It didn't really originate from the Omega Pirate since the Metroid was already corrupted by the Phazon.

WOW!! All this time I could've just used the power bomb while using the morph ball. Too bad the way i did it was a whole lot slower. When shooting off the armor, i thought you could only use beams and missles. You seriously made this look so easy.

Actually, the purple suit is call the Gravity Suit and honestly, it's my 2'nd favorite suit. My favorite being the plain Fusion Suit.

In the Trilogy version the power bomb trick works. Omega Pirate wasn't even a boss in normal mode in my opinion. Power bombed the phazon plates and Super missled him. I think Hypermode won't be so easy though.

I don't know about that. This cutscene was only in the PAL and Japanese versions. So i'm not sure if the trilogy will have it or not.

They probably should have Remade the boss battles like they are in prime 3 where the boss only has one lock on point in the center and you have to aim at the different parts of the body to make the fights slightly more difficult

Damn it, they made the Omega Pirate way too easy now!!! I always hated that Power Bomb glitch too begin with, but I don't remember him taking that much damage from the Plasma Beam.

I literally just finished this battle in the GC version. Omega Pirate is one of the coolest bosses in video game history, in my opinion.

Seeing as he's an Elite Pirate, I didn't know you could use anything other than the Power Beam.

Yeah he's awesome. You can use missiles and any beam. But the power bombs i used, i don't think they work on him in the U.S version.
