Question for you. Is there a data base somewhere, where a newbie like me can find out what cases can beconverted to what case ? Or can you point me in the right direction? Thanks for your vids, always great !! Merry Christmas !
I read how to do it, I have some 303 brass, but no 303, annneal the case in hot lead to just below the shoulder, drop in cold water, load with pistol primers and 8 grains Herco and fill the rest of the case with cream of wheat, fire, presto, a fire formed 410 case
I have been watching this series of videos, and I was looking at what I have. I am trying to find a csse that I can reduce in to 7.62x39, but I am having trouble finding one with a comparable base that would work. do you have any suggestions on what might work? Tahnks
When I get the green light from the local gun club I'm going to do a few range sessions to show the fireforming process. Did you see the cases I had already fireformed? You'll lose a few of them but in the process you get more than you lose.

@PRACERZ Yes!! A book called Cartridge Conversions. It's an older book but is a wealth of information.

so just cuz they look kinda bad, after you shoot it'll look like it should?

Yes! Fireforming takes the case and irons out all the wrinkles. Just make sure the case is fully supported by the chamber.
