I flew Virgin here in Australia and my hard-shell suitcase came back shattered.... I didn't even think to make a fuss.

So I normally fly on Alaska Airlines, one flight I took they ripped my bag, the tear probably was no bigger than a finger nail, I didn't complain... my returning flight the hole got bigger, to the point I could pull out clothes. I went to baggage services and they replaced my bag with an even bigger more durable bag. I was happy and so was the baggage agent for me not screaming at her. By not screaming at her she was more willing to help me. don't anger those you want to help YOU!

Many people don't realize that when they buy an airline ticket they are then subject and in agreement with all of the airlines rules and regulations. The man with the bullet proof bag said "I didn't sign any contract" but he did when he bought his ticket. There was probably some fine print he didn't read I mean, who does read the fine print?
