That line guy is F*$ked!!!!! LOL!!! Let me also add I have been in working in the aviation field some 10 + years both military and civilian and I have never seen any line accidents with this kind of damage! IDK maybe I'm lucky!

yep once again cowboys on a weekend all from the usa what more do i need to say but hay guys get a taxi. o is that music nar dont think so only thing i could add to this no choppers dam. and u guys put a man on the moon shit if u park like that i have seen enough
Im Sorry! I'm still trying to see how a "WRONG TOW BAR" contributed to this accident!!!! No matter what they used, if thats the case, right or wrong tow bar, the ground handler made a major booboo, got to close to the other aircraft unless something else occured we dont know about! Tell us, What happened instead of playing some BS music with a bunch of nothing! Thank You
First of all the Tarmac at this paticular site is on an incline. The tow bar used was not strong enough for the Gulfstream so when he made his turn at the top of the Tarmac it snapped & the Gulfstream rolled down the incline & into the two aircraft that were parked at the bottom of the incline.
Ok, Explaines a bit! I just realized the Gulfstream took out a few planes! I still don't understand how the plane rolled that far that fast and what doesn't even look like a small incline on the video! But, What ever!!!!! Someone screwed the pooch big time!!!!! Have A Great Day
Bullshit. You need to understand that aircraft are more resilient and are tougher than they seem, considering their lightweight construction. The heaviest parts of the plane are: engines and...get this...RIVETS (Made from aluminum). You'd think otherwise, but on average, 15% of an aircraft's weight is rivets.
there are two type of pilots, the one who fly for the money, and all the good stuff. and the other who fly because they love it. the ones who fly for all the good stuff dont have a good sense of safety and security which require for a safe flight.
how does a tow bar allow you to smash to planes together? I guess if you were pulling one and the tow bar came off. Insurance shouldn't have to cover retardation like this.
Millions and millions of pounds worth of damage. Poor insurance company! So this is why the premium is so high! I can't understand how using the wrong tow bar could possibly lead to this. Poor planes too!
except when you are the one that is standing in front of the prop with the wands guiding them in to park, or handeling av-gas which is VERY flamable (jet-a is not)....line service IS a dangerous job, you have to be very alert constantly
What Signature was that at? I been to a few of them.
I know when were tugging big planes around at the FBO I have a guy walking with a large set of chocks in his hands incase the plane jumps off the tug.
I'd rather not say. I should've blocked out the Signature sign. I will say that the guys who work there are very good at what they do & a great bunch of guys.
No, we don't set the brake when we leave the plane because the pressure in the brake line could blow if the temp increases greatly. We use chocks to ensure the plane doesn't roll. It actually takes a lot to roll a Citation, makes you wonder if someone blasted him.
Great music for this video! One correction to Atticus210's description. The aircraft is not a Bonanza, it is a Beech Model 50 "Twin Bonanza" big difference - the Bonanza is a single engine with much different systems and FAA type certificate.
It's funny, when your working at the airport everybody picks up the names to all the aircraft really quickly. I've been out of the industry for some time so I guess I'm slipping. Thanks for the correction.
Correct. It eventually evolved into the Beechcraft Baron. It's interesting to realise that Beechcraft never made a V-tailed Baron, considering it's based on the Bonanza; However, a company called Bay Aviation modified 9 V-tailed C35 Bonanzas into twin-engined models, calling them Bay Super V Bonanzas.
Actually he didn't get fired. The turn over rate is too high. The fuel service industry pays their employees incredibly low wages because of their insurance premiums.

no, no, what happened was...he was trying to cut in front of me while I was looking down at my beer, which he made me spill by the way.
ok, ok here's the truth now...what happened was, my dog ate my homework, yeah, that's right. Yeah, I'm sticking to that last explanation.

why so many thumbs down people? I thought it was funny as shit, but that's just me.
Have any of these people ever heard of wheel chucks?
There are no such things as "accidents" only collisions that can always be traced back to someones neglect or incompetence.
An accident may be more like a blind bird flying into your windshield.
