With the whole world eating fish spawned in oil correxit sludge, due the BP oil spill correxit ocean bottoming of the mess, AND the whole world breathing the nuclear air of Fukushima AND from Karachi Pakistan daily discharge of 400+ million gallons of pollution into the worlds ocean, the population crash all that is going to cause, demand for gold then dropping precipitously, why buy gold? Activated charcoal production seems a much safer investment to me.
$1500 for a single 1 oz. coin!? It seems the price is no longer being suppressed. If the population gets smart to surviving nuke war, bee colony collapse, death of the oceans... then perhaps gold will continue to rise. But from what I'm seeing, the planet so industrially polluted as it has been in recent years, gold being no great survival solution for the mess that's been made, gold isn't going to go much higher, before the demand for it drops hugely, due there being far less people.
@sinterminator Liar Liar pants on fire. You like that right? My battling you with your own childish games. Has the population crashed yet? Where has the demand for gold spiked? Among those hoarding it. Does hoarding generally work out well for people? Especially hoarding what they have no biological need for, nor even and significant use for? Especially while others are in dire need of things that can be had for trade with what the hoarders horded...
@sinterminator Gold used to be $35 an ounce. It spiked in recent years to $1500 an ounce. Since I posted this comment it went to $1700 an ounce, which isn't MUCH higher from where it was. I didn't say, gold won't make any gains ever again. I said it's not going to go MUCH higher, especially factoring in the population crash that's going to result from the planet being as polluted as it is right now. At the level it's at right now, it stands to take a correction in short order.
if you havent woken up yet then you need to.. $1380oz now.. even silver is nearly $30oz.. Im stacking both... copper is next...JPM is trying to corner that too!
The background music is nice. The content is vital.
But put them together and it is extremely distracting to try and listen to the speakers. The film producer did a great disservice to the speakers on these videos by choosing to be chic versus just simply delivering the content.
My mind kept drifting away from the message and after backing the video about the fourth time I simply gave up. I want to buy the DVD but it almost certainly contains the same nerve-wracking background noise. Too bad.
those gold pan handlers worked thier ass off for YEARS just to find a couple flakes of gold a day. Thats gotta be worth somthing... if anything, our generation owes it to them. That gold coin might contain a couple flakes of gold that the pan halder dedicated his life to finding. Now, we just pick it up at the local bullion dealer.
Is there an edition of this serie of videos without that totally unnecessary and loud music 'under' it?
The story itself is exiting enough.
And yes, if I were living in the US, and had money, i'd spend it on gold. Even when the Bush Administration and bernanke announce this great plan (Sept 19, 2008). It has to be payd by raise of taxes and / or an immense inflation, I guess.
Thumbs up if you love that female computer voice. CRASH JP MORGAN BUY GOLD/SILVER!

The music is not only loud. It is awful. What a shame. I have to watch the video several times just to make sure I hear everything.
