  • Songs like this make me wanna punch something.

  • What is shitty is the fact you have an advertisement before this song.

    Would Jello approve??

    No didn't think so.

  • BASS BASS BASS BASS BASS BASS BASS FUCK YEAH!!!!!

  • Dead Kennedys = best punk band. I don't care about your overrated Misfits and The Exploited

  • @chaclapa HEY, the Clash are obviously the best.

  • @hiyapoeple1 na fukk em

  • @chaclapa WOAH MAN, WOAH, they were like, the greatest, though the dead kennedys are pretty god damn awesome, and i have most of their first album memorized

  • This is my fave song of the Dead Kennedys by the way!

  • I love this song from the very beginning. Awesome riffery in there

  • Can anyone tell me what does Frankenchrist mean ?

  • @1000fantomas Possibly a reference to Christ resurrecting like a zombie, or a criticism of religion following an icon like a cult, and in appearance it may resemble an older scary movie. That's how I feel when I see it.lol

  • @1000fantomas Perhaps the idea that Jesus Christ and the idea of "god" has become more like the concept of Frankenstien today... something created by man that eventually got out of control and became a being in its own that's completely isolated from all the other beings around because of how vastly different it is? ... That was just a guess really.

  • @misstuesdaysgone Frankenstein was the one who created the monster, not the monster itself.

  • @misstuesdaysgone That's what I always thought about the title, I think it's right.

  • Quite possibly the best song on the Frankenchrist album. Hellnation is a close second.

  • @TaimaDjinn I can't do Hellnation. It's too rough on my ears.

  • @Mduenisch "Rough on your ears" is called Punk Rock.

  • @TaimaDjinn Not the kind of Punk I'm into unfortunately.

  • @Mduenisch Yeah, that's not Punk Rock, not by a longshot.

  • @TaimaDjinn which isnt, the punk rock I like, or hell nation?

  • @TaimaDjinn thats right...this is what you call original

  • God, I love this album. The guitar is sick.

  • this song has meanings unlike those stupid love songs, which are so popular now

  • @jackdaw123456

Wooh! Wait a minute, there's nothing wrong with songs about love, and sometimes I like my music meaningless and solely for fun. But yeah, I think this a great song, too.

  • Simply, the album that changed my life......some of the tunes which kept my 'spirits high' during the war in Croatia.

  • EBR has got to be the most underrated guitarist out there.

  • @superlost90 Besides Greg Ginn

  • And I wonder And I wonder A growing Boy needs his lunch.. (thats all I can understand but this song is legendary)

  • why did no one pay attention? consumerism has destroyed eutopia. the time for violence is now. we are the masses. hold the few to pay for what they are trying to create. p.s. fuck mtv

    Greetings from fucking greece.

  • @fteros man i am english and i barely understand lol just some interesting questions and points lol

  • @fteros Basiclly, hes saying the jews are the root of all evil and that all blacks do is steal and rape. Hope this helped!

  • @biostewie nazi punk

    ...you fill in the rest

  • @biostewie Alright that's enough Glenn Beck for you young man.

  • @biostewie

    Obvious troll is obvious

  • @RisingTornado Obvious /b/rother is obvious

  • @biostewie

Actually, no. My daughter hangs around /b/, I'm too old for that shit.

  • @fteros It's about how people try to distract themselves from world issues.

  • Am I the only person who wants to drive around in one of those cars?

  • you are most certainly not

  • I WANNA DRIVE IN THOSE CARS! :D

  • rockin to tha dead kennedys IS what a growing boy needs, haha

  • Ye, I'm tired of all the hate even tho we may act different we still group together in a fuckin survey.

Rockin to DK is what a growing boy needs.

  • To Quote Del Tha Funky Homosapien

  • what do u mean

  • @ theZMZ

    U're right

    Durin' the years even i have learned to listen to the m e s s a g e not the s o u n d...

And there are bands all over the globe...

    That's something w e a l l share - no matter which style... -

But i have to admit that my heart still beats 4 Punk - even after all these years... -

the Ignition was started when i listened to the Pistols 4 the very first time somewherre back in the late 70's

  • @ vivalaranter

It was quite the same with me... they didn't make me what i became but had a big influence and helped me to open up my eyes, ears and mouth

  • @bartleby317

    Oh that's something i didn't know...

  • Cesspools In Eden is one of my top 10 songs ever. You might not give a shit, but check it out. The lyrics. It is in the more info link.

  • I've listened to this band since I was 12. I may not always agree with them politically, but they made me a politically minded person.

  • Politically speaking, i must say that, as the time passes by, I agree more and more with Jello and less and less with the Dead Kennedys (=P), but i really support what they used to stand for. Glad that at least they made you politically aware. Not everyone can say that.

  • Funny, but I find myself lacking respect for Jello. He deliberately cheated his business partners out of money, lies, and now he says terrible things about them because of the consequences he faces for what he did to them. Sorry, but I'm with Klaus, Ray, and Peligro on this.

  • @theZMZ They were a bit extreme...but had good ideas that caused people to question virtually everything. Also, music wise, there is nothing else at all like it.

  • this song takes me back to the summer after ninth grade. DK really helped me open up to the world around me.

  • Absolutely great track, yea.

  • I love this song. The intro sounds like the soundtrack to the Apocalypse.

  • Thanks for the whole thing. My favorite DK album!

  • No worries...always glad to spread the goodness XD

  • Awesome, especially the Solo...why can't there be more music like this (especially these days)

  • good tune!
