Nice idea. So you just don't send to journals with high impact factor overall. You send to journals where certain types of articles (e.g. words in title, or keyword) tend to be cited more = high IF for those types of articles.
This should in theory increase your chance of being cited as compared to blindly sending to journasl with overall high impact factors.
Any studies done on the effectiveness of this method? Not sure how you could test this though.
