This song honestly makes me kinda sad. This was back when they had a unique schtick: hand-played percussion. Now they still kinda' sound like old Guster, but also just sound like everybody else.
Really good group and their music is refreshing, unlike some of the negative waves I'm picking up on from the comments posted here. Mellow out and switch to DeCaff for crying out loud.
What does it matter if you listen to it in Hollister? As long as you are here now listening to a great song, it doesn't matter...now shh, im trying to listen.
Hey, Hollister has lovely fitting jeans. It's the only pair I wear -meaning I only own one pair of jeans because a) I love them so much and b) they're fucking expensive for my broke ass.
I first heard Guster September 3rd at a Guster & Jack's Mannequin concert. I couldn't believe how much I instantly enjoyed them.
reasons some people dislike the fact about Hollister playing it is beacause most people who shop there know nothing about real actual music. They'll stick to Justin Bieber and whatever's playing on the radio.
I haven't heard this song in a really long time. It brings me back to my tiny room in college when I listened to this on my winamp player! Thanks for the throwback. I will go see them in concert this year!
lol I first heard this song when I saw them live, and then I look it up and the only comments are people bitching about how it plays in hollistar. In all honesty, who cares? good music is good music...
Hell if it gets more listeners to the Guster circuit then so be it. If they'll pay 30 for a piece of crap shirt, then a Guster CD would be a bargain of a lifetime
Hollister, you made me throw up in my mouth a little. I can`t stand all those trendy specialty clothing stores. They all insist that you wear their corporate logo or name at a premium price. So, essentially you are a walking billboard for trendy brand X.
@Hockyluv21 This was, BTW, on the June/July Playlist. I'm expecting a cut from their new album to be on the January Spring Preview playlist, so keep an eye on that.
@Hockyluv21 Eh that's a matter of opinion. Anyway it's entirely unrelated to my love of Guster but I just don't support overpriced brandname places like that and it annoys the heck outta me when people jump on the bandwagon after hearing one song. :\ At any rate I hope they make a pile of money off of this being played
@paddleboats23 Don't worry about that. How did you 1st get exposed to a band? By hearing one song. That's all it takes. Then your curiosity peaks, and you want to know more. Doesn't matter how a band gets fans, it's that they got them.

@paddleboats23 why does it matter where people heard this song? The way I see it, if Hollister is spreading good music, fine by me.

@Physma Well no, because most of us hipsters and cunts that shop there actually listen to good music. :)

This also reminds me of riding a bus to barndance. The smell of hay and vodka punch in a canteen with Guster playing in the background!
