@azz578 How come? You can turn on auto-save (so you cannot load obsolete savefile) and turn off the "undo" function. Besides, what's the point playing chess with CPU, there's always a way out of all your mistakes, right? Battle for Wesnoth is epic and open. It fascinates me more because of it's source than the gameplay - that's why I didn't really liked Rogue Planet. It's kind of rip off from a free (as in "free beer") game.

@cgofme You can revert back to almost any turn within a scenario.

Its virtually impossible to lose, unless you get bored and quit.

@azz578 Like I said before, you can turn off such possibility or choose not to use it. If you don't find it interesting then it's not for you. It's not a place for this talk unless what you're trying to say is Rogue Planet doesn't have an undo possibility what makes it more challenging. What doesn't change anything from my previous statement - it's still a BfW in a science-fiction world.

@cgofme No, you cant turn off the "possibility". I did not mention the UNDO button, I'm criticising the in-game menu which allows you to revert back to a turn.

@azz578 57,7M results on Google says you can "turn off the possibility". And the in-game menu function you use to go back to the previous turn is called "undo" - you can switch it off or even compile the whole game without it (guess why - because it's OPEN!). And no. Not only a genre. It's obvious you either didn't play both games or you're looking for an opportunity to quarrel, so... This is my last comment on this matter.

This game is good, but it needs more environments; it gets annoying watching units fire at eather from the same location. I'd actually have just prefered animation & audio on the over-head map.

nice, this is a clone of advance wars 2 for GBA. Wy not just call it advance wars 2 and make it the same.

They'd have to pay licensing fees. They could actually get sued for making a clone, but no one cares really.

This game would be pretty awesome if my itunes didn't wipe it from my Iphone 3 hours in and I never ever want to play new mexico again.

What platform? Checking the logs would be a good start. See for any error messages - there are usually few. If you can't find logs, make sure it's run by "wesnoth" and not "wesnoth-nologs". Official BfW forum would be probably more helpful.
