You are actually incorrect. The Baptist Church is not the mother of churches; it is the Eastern Orthodox Church, then the Catholic Church, then the reformation and the rest of the denominations. Baptist churches actually used to put people out of their churches for shouting, dancing, tongue taking, etc. They were against Bishop CH Mason for preaching the holiness and holy ghost doctrine. And now they are trying to be like the sanctified COGIC church. COGIC is the original.

Why is people still stuck in the pass on how things was.. Leave what happen in the pass stay there and leave it there.. B/c Im gettin mad how ppl say that Baptist IS JUST NOW GETTING THIS OR THAT we all serve the same God and love the same Jesus. I mean I love COGIC although im Baptist but I dont bring anyone down b/c the this or that. So just Please drop this.. And it also came out of Mississippi which i didnt know COGIC started there and Im from MS so we all learn something new.

I am Apostolic and you can tell the difference between Sanctified folks and baptist ppl. Just because baptist ppl have learned how to dance and shout, doesnt mean that they have turned sanctified! You have to be filled wit the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus Name!

@MrFresh507 How can you tell the difference? Apostolic shout and dance too, and that doesn't make yall sanctified either. Sanctification is a process. It is a lifestyle!! Being filled with the Holy Spirit helps you to live a sanctified life apart from the world. But you are still not PERFECT and do have flaws.

@BlessedByTheBest- Some of what you said is right but you can tell the difference because if you are saved and sanctified, you have to have the Holy Ghost. Maybe you was misunderstanding my comment. I was talking about when she said the baptist church done went sanctified. And the Bible said Job was perfect.. just saying.

@BlessedByTheBest Sanctification true- but remember it is overall setting yourself apart from the world after receiving salvation of God. Really to be honest with everyone, Just Let God have His Way! Too much defining causes one to loose focus. If the Apostolic Church believes this way, let them believe. "BlessedbyTheBest", I truly understand your statement. (Hint). Last thing "Christians" ought to be doin is picking each other apart (which makes both ya'all wrong in this situation....) no matter what Faith origin, ya gotta have your OWN relationship with Christ and make certain yours is Right----But then this has been an issue I noted YEARS ago... fightin amongst "Church" folk....what a shame and waste of time and plain just not cool

@MrFresh507 My church is Baptist but My grandmother is an Apostle..The organist that we have now he said he thought we were Apostolic..But when my grandmother preach she is very apostolic and these are the times for that....

i have nothing against cogic or the baptist church I grew up apostolic cooljc we are different from cogic and baptist you all believe in the trinity we dont believe in the trinity, you all believe in the baptism in the father, son and the holy ghost, I was baptize in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.... that what set us apart from our triniterian brothas and sistas plus in cooljc they dont ordain women to preach...

@LANG671 who cares I used to feel the same way, but we're all trying to make it to heaven...I guess in heaven we're going to be sectioned off...if you're baptized in the name or what some call titles of Father, son and Holyghost, I believe you will still be able to make it into heaven...the only thing He said is that you must be born again of the water and of the spirit not if you're baptized in the name you will go to heaven and the same with the father, son, and holyghost...

Little do people know, but, COGIC denomination was birthed out of the BAPTIST CHURCH!...if one would take the time to study the history of the church you will find this fact to be true....the BAPTIST CHURCH is the mother of churches! The fire came from there!!!!!!

You are actually incorrect. The Baptist Church is not the mother of churches; it is the Eastern Orthodox Church, then the Catholic Church, then the reformation and the rest of the denominations. Baptist churches actually used to put people out of their churches for shouting, dancing, tongue taking, etc. They were against Bishop CH Mason for preaching the holiness and holy ghost doctrine. And now they are trying to be like the sanctified COGIC church. COGIC is the original.

@flyingphoneix Yes back in the day, you are correct, but COGIC still came out of the Baptist church. They still have many things in their service that are just like the Baptist, and that's what shocked me. The protocol, the bendediction, etc...I also think just at that time they didn't receive, but the Holy Spirit is available for EVERYONE. God shall pour out his spirit on ALL flesh.

Evangelist Dorinda is the only woman I know who can jump straight up in some 6" stiletto heels and perfectly come down without no problems. She got it. The Baptist Church done turned Sanctified!!!!!
