Any other 818/310 UCLA rejects in the house? I went to this crap school (Muir) and hated it. I should have gone to UC Irvine or Cal State Northridge. If you go here, San Diego is boring so be prepared to go back to LA/OC every weekend.
Do not go here because you were rejected by CAL/UCLA/Stanford and USN&WR says this is your next best choice. Pick a school where you will have a good time.
@yellowdemini I majored in Political Theory. I picked it as a stepping stone to law school. I love my major. The professors were alright. Some were harder than others. I don't know about the science majors, but in my case I had to worry about the TAs more than I did about the professors. TAs were the ones who read my essays and graded my work. If you disagree with the grade you get...you need to convince your TA that you are right and he/she is wrong.
I am not sure about sixth college, but I heard many good things about Muir. The GE in Muir is kinda easy compare to other college. Marshall is good too, but first choice for a lot of people would be Muir. ERC and Revelle both have sixth writing courses while other only have 3 or 4. So if you enjoy writing, you might want to get into those colleges, lol. If you are a science majoy, go with revelle. For engineering, go for warren. But you know, major doesn't matter, any colleges for every major.
san diego is sunny almost year round. however, there are times when it gets cold and stormy around here. in fact, in december, we got a pretty bad storm and i think a couple of years ago, tornadoes were spotted around the san diego county, whether itd be in the ocean or in land. however, storms as such are super rare. the most common thing u would have to worry would be the fires. in the end, it such a beautiful place to live, especially at UCSD.
im an international student from germany and presently studying economics in university of texas san antonio. Is it possible for me to transfer to ucsd in my second year?
Peace upon those who follow guidance, honestly, I am a Saudi student, I hope that this university accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education Saudi Arabia until completed my higher education, they do not care about the money I could afford Vahamdllah educational as well as paying for one hundred students others, but I'd adoption by our ministry to I guarantee my career. Greetings I've been loving the University of California San Diego
I'd be willing to bet UCSD is accredited anywhere in the world. UCSD is one of the best universities in the world because it's a member of the university of ca system.
Go to a junior college in California, keep a good GPA, sign a TAG agreement, and you are in. I did it. I even received a grant. It was my dream and I made it happen.
Actually it's possible. My GPA was a rather low 3.3 out of 4.0, and if you inflate it with IBs, it was a 3.7 out of 4.5. But I got the National Merit Scholarship Commended Student award for my PSAT, and my SAT was almost perfect, and I got into UCSD even though I attended High School in China. So I mean, all in all, they do look at the whole picture.

I have a huge question about weather! do you ever need a sweater during the winter or can you just wear shorts and shirt all year?

SCREW UCSD. I got rejected from here but got into Berkeley, UCLA, and Boston College.
Once again, a big middle finger for this school.
