Hmmm, This game was never released on cartridge... but I remember seen this game on a cartridge, or atleast a card.... Not sure though. I had the same model of the sega as you have but only had Hand on on it. And it started directly, I didn't even need to press anything.
I remember randomly pressing buttons for some reason and found this game. Didn't work on the SMS that had the built-in Hang On/Safari Hunt that my friend had. In 1999 I was surprised to find that the snail trick worked on an emulator I found.
I actually have have an Atari 2600, but it's in storage and I don't have many games for it. I do have an Atari Flashback, a re-release of the Atari 7800 with 20 built-in games, an Atari Flashback 2, a re-release of the Atari 2600, but with 40 built-in games and no cartridge slot, an Atari Lynx, and an Atari Jaguar with the CD add-on.
As a matter of fact, I do have a Nintendo Virtual Boy with four games, stand, controller, AC adapter, and the AC adapter box. I don't have the battery box for it, but I have been looking for one. The games I have for my Nintendo Virtual Boy are: Galactic Pinball, Mario Clash (My favorite game for the Nintendo Virtual Boy.), Golf, and Red Alarm. I am going to do a Special Review on this system in the near future.
Yes. I am going to do a Special Review of the Virtual Boy in the near future.
It will be a while though, because I am in school right now, and I am trying to keep my making of videos to a minimum.
I am going to temporarily stop making videos after September 21, 2008. But I will be back for Season 2 of my videos in December, and I will also make a video for Halloween and a video for Thanksgiving.
I hope you understand and I am sorry for any inconvenience.
Good reviews, I look forward to seeing more Sega Master System game reviews as this is one system that didn't go over to well in North America due to poor marketing and really bad release timing.. (Atari 7800 anyone? lol)
I just bought one from ebay with 30 games, so i have a Master System, Genesis, Dreamcast, NES, SNES and Wii now. and a bunch of games for each of them.. I would do some reviews but, i don't think i could do them that well..
i also have a Master System with the Original BIOS that contains the snail maze game

Thankfully kids are dumb, and I was a kid, so I mashed the buttons for no good reason and that game popping up surprised the heck out of me.

Ahhh, good memories! But I remember that I finished this game and just a blinky "Congratulations" came into view. Very frustrating... :-(

i remember playing the hell out of this game once i had discovered it. I played it more than Hang-on and Safari Hunt.
