They all cant just be storys because the myth of the vampire has been around to long and in almost every culture all over the world there is a vampire myth. The Aztecs had myths about vampires before any1 came 2 the new world. so i think that they had 2 exist in some form or another just maybe not how we think of them 2 day who knows? that thought can be exciting to think about

Just heard of this show ( I don't watch much television ). I must say the way they did the vamp eyes in this show is dead on. I never understood the Red eyes in most vamp entertainment. The sheer blue screams corpse. Bravo. Wish I would have known about this show while it was on air. Did they do a second season ?

if a vamp bites you and then stops then later on you become a vamp but if they don't stop then the drain you blood and your heart stops and you die. does that help?????

but if it just bites you nd then in time you would change into a vampire because their venom spreads into your system

That right there, is a newly created myth.

The old myth was :

Vampires would essentially replce thier victim's blood with thier own, but not allowing them to drink enough for a full replacement. this caused the thirst, which led to the new vampire feeding. eventually, because the vampire's blood in the fledgeling was stronger than the blood from the fledgeling's first victim, the need to feed rose again, repeating the cycle.
