The thing about Joe is that he is young, pure and not pretentious. In his first audition, he said that he just stumbled upon his voice. So amazing, to find something within yourself, that is untouched! He didntt push it. It was just there to be discovered

That was by a long long way the most emotional performance I've ever seen on the X Factor... even more so than Alexandra last year crying through her victory performance (which was emotional for her maybe but was just a bit funny and uncomfortable to watch).

agree with JDodge1100 on the last comment. I listened to Leona's version of this song, and honestly I didn't feel the lyrics as much as I felt from Joe's version. Joe sang his heart out, and that makes him a true artist. I also listened to different versions of this song, including the original from Elton John, but I like Joe's the best. I wish I could vote on the show from Canada :D.
