@ProGunz1996 You can just type in the values where you see "width," "height," etc. And if you want to save those settings as a preset for later, just click "Save Preset" on the right-hand side =)

@discharger61 To be completely honest, I have no idea why that would be happening... Unless you're using Photoshop Elements vs Photoshop CS. My other hunch is that your text is black with a white background (which doesn't make sense why that would be the cause) and the wind is only affecting the white portion. Care to give more details on the matter?

@SweKaGe Sounds like you just have the layers stacked wrong.. Just put person 2's layer beneath person 1's layer!

@DKANG1994 That happened to me on the glass font tutorial! Make sure its in RGB mode, all those filters aren't always in CMYK mode (you can change by going to Image>Mode> RGB color)

SOLUTION: if you have the problem with the "line" when you are supposed to write something change the color so it is not set on black!!!

@Spitsnakes @edyxx198 you should bring up the text size about 200?? donnno how big ur canvas is right now but u should try that... then u can see it.. play around with it so it fits ur image/ also dont use a too small text square thingy cuz then the letter won't fit into it and you won't be able to see them

@troels1996 Well starting out, tutorials are the way to go! =) There's tutorials for countless topics on Photoshop, so I would suggest looking up tutorials for beginners. Sadly, we don't have many of those right now, though I hope to release a series specifically for beginners within the next couple of months =)

Hey love the tutorial but I find when I save and it flattens the image I loose the definition from the grunge texture and aftergloy copy(your top two layers) a lot and it becomes really yellow. Can you help out or figure out another method?

oh and if you google this tex_17_ grayscale and go to images u will find the grunge pic is the very first pic. also if u are using windows 7 like my self, after downloading the font, go to start>control panel>font. then copy the file you downloaded anywhere into fonts, there is no install button. then go into photoshop select fonts and you will find "Bleeding Cowboy" font.

If photoshop is open, and u r already using fonts, select anything else ie magic wand, then back to fonts, it will be there

I am a noob in photoshop and i followed bit by bit and i did it first time with no mistakes and it looked identical to this one. iv even gone on to use the same textures and instructions to make my own logo.
