Doubts are to be pushed aside, especially if you grew up in that cult. But new converts are not told of church history, and in FACT the church keeps CHANGING its stories and temple covenants, etc. to lull the masses. I can tell a lot about the nineteenth century just by learning about the Book of Mormon. First of all education of the distant past at that point in time was clearly unimpressive to say the least. The knowledge of language, culture, civilization, genealogy, and geography during the time of Joseph Smith's life was less than great. There is prophecy in the Bible, science in the Bible, archaeology that verifies the Bible, etc. Also, the manuscript evidence testifies to its preservation and there are NO contradictions in it. The uniqueness of it also testifies to its reliability as God's Word.

Okay, I'm all for freedom of religion, and trying to peacefully disprove the LDS Church (As the video seems to do well) is all good, but some people seem to go a little over board with the truthfullness of the "Good Book". If I were to, oh, I don't know, point out that Christmas trees are againist the bible (Jeremiah 10:2-5), would people complain? Probably. The Mormons rarely complain about assaults on the BOM, despite the many, so cure your hypocrisy before you assault the them with "proof".

It took me long to find out the truth about mormonism. I was scared and afraid I would lose eternal life if I left the "Church". It is wonderful to be free. Free to love Jesus, my savior. I know there are lots of mormons who are true believers in Christ but they are decieved because they trust in "modern prophets" who are no prophets at all. In my mormon times I never heard a " modern prophesy" , just a "follow your leaders" - where to? Not to Jesus!! I had to find HIM by myself by HIS grace.

Jesus did not, of course, create His Father in Heaven, since His (and our) Father in Heaven always existed and was never created. Therefore, the "all things" phrase in Colossians 1:16 must refer specifically to all created things.

As John said of Christ, "without him was not anything made that was made." (John 1:3) Unmade things, or things that exist eternally, are not mentioned in such verses as these.

Jesus has the same Father we do, according to John 20:17.
