Granted, real gamers build their own rigs but they're still very nice for their targeted audience. They even have motorized fans and a dynamic color changing system for the lighting.

Microsoft has self-tuning networking which makes network much better than nix systems. a good DNS server, runs on many hardware configurations, better software and game selection. the best freeware is on Windows, and runs better on Windows. on a Pc you can overclock with most machines, more upgrading abilities with a ATX compliant mid-tower. latest and greatest is on Windows the majority of the time. Building a PC often has better quality than a mac if you spend wisely.

On the contrary AJ, prove to me why unix is better than Windows besides the fact that it's not made by Microsoft. It's another platform that's just as vulnerable as anything else. That's why it has no problem reading any device I've ever shoved in it, right? WD external HDs work just fine. Flash drives work just fine. Every button on my MX 400 works just fine, in fact better than Windows because Windows does nothing with my zoom buttons. You're lying as usual.

With my experience apple are cheaper in the long run any way. I could have got Macbook for the same price as my toshiba satellite, and the macbook would still be working.

Yup. A particular uncle of mine has a either a G4 or G5 iMac, and he still uses it for audio editing (he's a professional musician) with no issues.
