I am 100% for gay marriage, but this is not the appropriate time to do this. Now we have a momentum from the tea party which is mainly socially conservative. It's a golden opportunity to use it to halt the keynsian expansion of the federal gov't and start tackling the social security issue now that it's AT LAST on the table.
