The surge has worked. Iraq is holding free elections. Good thing no one listened to McNerney. If he was so wrong on this critical issue, how can we trust him on any other issue:  the stimulus bill, cap and trade, healthcare reform....?

He's dead right the surge hasn't worked. The reason the Iraqi Civil War has produced fewer deaths is because neighborhoods in Iraq are now segregated into Sunni & Shia neigborhoods.

They aren't going to live with each other again. But even if the deaths had slowed because of our troops that wasn't the purpose. The purpose was to help with political reconciliation which will never happen. Al-qeada & America haters both hope we don't leave Iraq, they love to see our soldiers maimed & killed.
