avast does not suck,it gives you the best protection,better than trend or anything else,its really protective,so when you get a virus detected stuff,it is working its hardest to remove it so when you go back on,ill protect you from harmless ones,avast is the best protection out there

This video is like two years old. During which time I've found AVG has grown into a horrible bloated mess, almost as bad as Norton.

A couple of times I've found with customers XP machines, AVG has detected the virus or malware, but it hasn't stopped the malware doing damage, and can't clean the mess up.

I tend to recommend Avast or MS Security Essentials these days.

avg jacked up my computer. the heal button didnt work . it said unable to heal, so it deleted the viruses AND THE FILES. I had to make a new windows setup. MalwareBytes AntiMalware and Avast or way better.

click the computer scanner option button on the left. then in the bottom right, it lists 2 options, click virus vault. and then hit delete all. :) glad i can help.

Just Click "YES" It shows that disclamier message coz some programmes run on virus LIKE MSN HACKS ^_^.. If u remove that virus, the programme will no longer work. Just click YES and u r fine.. :D..

I have a real problem here. My antivirus is deleting this adware virus but its coming from a folder named system volume information but I can't access if even if I use a batch file or create a shortcut it will say access denied. I'm admin on my computer. I believe theres more in system volume then I thought because ever hour the virus comes back with a different name but from the same folder

You will need to reset your host file to the default Microsoft configuration,. To do that

download HostsXpert.zip

1. Unzip HostsXpert.zip

2. Double click on HostsXpert.exe

3. Then click on "Restore Original Hosts" to restore your Hosts file to its default condition..

4. Click on Make Hosts Read Only to secure it against further infection.

5. Close program when complete.
