  • I love this film and I love this song.... 80's movies and music was the best..... I've bought my daughter up (she's now 15) to watch these sort of movies and listen to 80's music and now bit by bit she's introducing all her friends to the wonderful decade that was the 80's....

  • I'm sorry if a lot of people complain about the intro, but I had to use it. Youtube already deleted my old account and gave a flag about "Don't you forget about me". Using an intro it was my only way to post this.

  • This movie defines the 80s, the music of the time, highschool, being a teen. You should've been there.

  • Kinda hate the song at the beginning cus it's not even close to this type of music i mean seriously ruins the mood

  • I dont think the question is "Would you call my name?" I think its more... "Would you answer?"

  • i wasnt even born when this movie was made but it is one of my all time fav movies.....

  • I love the video. I hate the intro.

  • I love this movie. I definitly prefer this over the new movies. And I'm from 1993 so you'd think I wouldn't like an 'old' movie like this. But it's my favorite

  • Awesome movie and video! Was in high school when this came out so I could relate so well-want my son to watch it as well so he understands that everyone is "different" in some way and it's NOT a bad thing

  • just seen this movie last night, it made me cry :(... I miss my high school years...

  • The racist comment was deleted as I soon I noticed. Sorry if someone had to read it.

  • @Tenshi883 thanks, it's nice to see someone watching these racist Dheads and doing something

  • greatest movie ever made

    AMAZIN

  • This movie will always be a fav of mine........the 80's will forever rock! MTV will never be as great as the 80's........of course, that's only MY opinion :) Great video, love it. But sorry, not crazy about the intro.

  • New & Improved...but still awesome. :D Can't say THAT for most things these days, lol...some things just shouldn't be changed. ;P

  • Intro sucks!

  • I envy you people that were born in this time...I was born in '91, but I wish I could have been a teenager in the 80s because it sure seemed like a more fun time and an era which was less filled with rap shit and the all around ridiculous things of today. I'm a total 80s girl forever. <3 I love the music and the movies and style for sure.

  • The 80's was a great decade for movies...it just had soo many hit movies. And although I like the 80's horror the most this is one of the other movies I like as well.

  • Lose the intro ....

  • @jsbruzina i concur

  • one of the best films ever made

  • Molly Ringwald ftw

  • a brilliant movie.... still love it!

  • you're damn skippy, i cant even begin to imagine being born with this generation...nothing but the yo yo bullshit and nothing that immitates real music...80's all the way

  • Brings a little water to my eyes to remember how things where back then. The friends, the places, the attitudes. I feel sorry for anyone born after the 80's who didn't get to experience it.

  • i just noticed, A 2-story library?? nice... and it also has an awesome staircase

  • It actually wasn't the library of the school they were in. The original library was too small to film the movie in, so John Hughes actually had the crew turn the school's gymnasium into a library, hence it being so big.

  • these is a realy good movie i was born in 93 but the 80's was the best=)

  • I was born in 93 too, but I wish I'd have gotten to live out the 80s. I love The Breakfast Club.

  • @Kayetlyn3 born in 93 too. so wish i couldve been a teenager in the eighties. this film is amazing :)

  • I was a teenager when this song was out...It was amazing then and still is!

  • HA!

'83 here. Still don't remember much, but know reet petite like the backside of my hand. (That and Prince's kiss on vinyl). Awful perms in beginning of the 90's too, you didn't miss much there.

  • I love this movie, I grow up in the 80´s. AND I MISS THE 80´s!!!

  • I miss the 80's too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hell of a lot better back then! As opposed to today, you can't walk 20ft from your house without being arrested by police for irrelevant reasons, being murder and/or raped. Messed up place we got ourselves.

  • @stallionplaya52 your life must be hard if you can't walk 20ft without being arrester/murdered/raped.

I do not have that problem

  • Well, you seem to be under the influence of a rather common misconception about safety. The truth is that the world is a much safer place now than it was in the 1980's.

  • @MrJumper68

I was born at the beginning of 90's, so I can't miss the 80's, but I feel strong fondness to this period. I also love "The Breakfast Club"... Fantastic movie...

  • too bad that those actors never went bigger.

  • Without a doubt this was one of the best movies. Mollie Ringwald was one of the top actresses at this time. They say that she turned down the main role for Pretty Woman. And many believe that was the biggest mistake she did for she went down hill. So sad but thats how it goes in the movie world.

  • Anthony Michael Hall turned down alot of excellent parts too. Hall turned down Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Pretty in Pink roles.

  • i love this movie

  • :'( nostalgia !!!

  • i love this movie

wish it still was the 80s

  • im only 16 and i wish i could be 16 in the 80's

  • Same im only 16 and love everythink about the 80s ,i love the music and styles ,such as punks ,bikers, new romantics etc ,we dont have music like that anymore , i always ask my mum about the 80s aha ,,she loved it, my dad was a new-romantic .

  • @lydiiaG my mum was a new romantic. i love looking through her old Lps and clothes. so much better than nowadays. :(

  • @navyboy143

    Me too :)

  • 80s classic forever

    <3

  • one of my & my bro's fav movies its a classic.=]

  • my favorite movie!

  • my favourite movie

  • i love this song i wanted to buy it on itunes but u had to buy the whole soundtrack to get it!

  • i enjoyed this video, but i'm not sure i understand the intro.

  • These days they neither make songs nor a movie like this one. The '80s will rock for life.

  • wow you don't this good classic rock everyday great video!!

  • "you just stick to the things you know. shopping, nail polish, your fathers bmw and your poor rich drunk mother out in the carribiean." John Bender - The Breakfast Club. respect.

  • Holy shit, its not often that someone makes a good music video for something.

  • one of the best movies ever made :) and its b4 my time (1993)

  • @Kiobas99 i agree. totally. 1992. lol. x_^ i think i was born 20 years later than i was supposed to be. =/

  • This was put together nicely. Takes me back to high school!!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic, unique movie. Timeless :D

  • I think that this is one of the most inspirational movies of all time and anyone who hasnt seen this movie is truly missing out from and expirince that only the 80's could give us.

    R.I.P John Hughes

  • PERFECTLY SAID MY FRIEND :"D

  • @guthixnoob32699 the gold days where save and fun times unlike these days on rap and hiphop and governemnt issues makes the days greyer and older and in the 80s the music gave a fun sound to it if u hear these rap songs about going to pop someone and blame the cops for everything bla bla. life aint fun anymore as it use to be :(

  • @guthixnoob32699 I've never seen this movie since 2 weeks ago. The whole style of the movie is awesome. And if you think about it amovie with only 6 actors in it can be so amazing and nowadays some movies with much bigger budgets etc. are sh*t

  • Music still rocks...80's music, particularly the well-made, well-written, meaningful songs will always stay timeless...I wish I could say the same for what are now too many soulless overly-produced non-individual-inspired tunes presently made. DON'T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME!
