Honestly, the reason as to why they last so long is because of the low spring tension. They can not handle the power or stress of the FPS/ROF that the majority of my guns have.

If you're going to spend money on a aeg blowback and really want to do it right G&G is the only one to go to. Still the only company to use the pneumatic blowback system. They have it patented.

I have to disagree, if there were any aeg to go to for blowback it would have to be tokyo marui. On video they seem to have the best blowback for aegs. Ya there guns are expensive but tokyo marui has shown why its still one of the best brands around, their amazing quality that surpasses all other brands

Any other AEG besides G&G that has blowback has it synced with the piston which is BAD. It'll cause damage internally. Most likely strip the first few teeth of the piston itself. G&G's blowback uses air and doesn't take away from the compression. There's really no competition when it comes to that. G&G is much better.

Airsoft is Mil-sim or military simulation. Your supposed to shoot people with them. The U.S. Army and LOTS of police forces around the world use airsoft as mock training weapons. Airsoft takes a step towards the realistic approach.

lol systema does make a good realistic airsoft gun, but theres no blow back, but thats ok because its still awesome then all m4's on planet earth even though you have to use 8mm bb's to actually get it to 400 fps due to the fact that it has 600 fps, or 658 i dont remember but it is strong, and that all that matters :) ( we now proven airsoft hurts more than paintball )

Airsoft is a HOBBY first off. In sports you play to win, and if you ask any real airsoft player, they play for the fun, not for the victory. You're right, these aren't toys. But they ARE as a matter of fact a great way to advocate gun control. I've ran it past dozens of kids minds that guns are dangerous, especially these. These will get you killed as fast as a real gun.

Uh... airsoft is actually a recreational sport, replicating war, or other situations, without actually having to put ones life on the line. Some people like to make it as realistic as possible, thus blowback, shell ejecting guns, and other such airsoft 'guns'. Some people who own airsoft guns might actually be able to get a real gun. But thing is, you cant shoot your friend with a real gun, and still have him/her around. Also, where in the title does it say that it is a real gun, zaces?

marui is clearly the victor here. they have really out done themselves this time. the galil is a bit of a disapointment in my opinion. personally i love the galil style and it had great potential. not a great first attempt by king arms. i agree with ecthelion... if they cant do the blow back right, it would be much better with out it at all.

The "more" of that damage is about 0,0. Gears, motor, spring, spring guide, piston etc get the same mechanical load as they would get with BBs loaded. The only difference is, that the piston will hit the cylinder head with a slightly higher velocity due to lower pressure (=lower resistance) in the cylinder. But that will make no real difference. It is not like dry fire does 2x the damage as normal fire. The ratio could be something like 1/1.0001 = negligible
