  • One of my mentors and never met the man. His book was an inspiration and I seriously believe hes done muchfor American woodworking with his chapters on work ethic,sharpening,and his emphasis on respect for simplicity . Not to mention introducing many of us to an incredible range of tools and their proper use. Changed my outlook totally. Thank you.

  • Awesome my old 3D teacher. That was a great experience ,I learned so much. If you see him thank him for me. 

  • @starm33 Nice! I had a sculpture class with him at Pratt Institute. He told us "Art is a new way to see life." A man of few words, he basically just told us whether or not the work we did was art or was not art. I can't remember how many times I heard him say "That not art!" haha. What a great guy, thanks Toshio.
