10 years on people still talk about that fight with Lewis. I think it is a credit to the quality of Chapion he was. A prime Lenox Lewis vs Vitaki Klitschko would've been a great fight. I hate calling a win lucky, but I think Lenox was really fortunate that the cut he gave Vitali ended the fight. He was getting dominated that fight and if it had gone the distance he most likely would've lost by unanimous decision.

A prime Lenox Lewis vs Vitaki Klitschko would've been a great fight. I hate calling a win lucky, but I think Lenox was really fortunate that the cut he gave Vitali ended the fight. He was getting dominated that fight and if it had gone the distance he most likely would've lost by unanimous decision.

@T3rrap1n Listen i'm british and a big Lewis fan but 'Lennox Lewis TKO Vitali Klitschko' does NOT tell the full story as you know very well. The stoppage came as a result of a cut and Vitali was ahead on ALL three scorecards when the fight was called off. Now yes winning on a cut is a legitimate way to win a fight, nobody is arguing that but there's more to it. Perhaps it also tells you something that Lennox decided to retire as opposed to taking a rematch with Vitali or fighting Vladimir.
