I'm reading all these arguments about whether Pete is gay or not! Back in the early '90's supposedly Pete Townsend said in the early '80's, while making this album, he went through a homosexual "Phase" but is in fact straight. Whether this was a rumor or not doesn't matter! The guy is a rock Genius. I don't know the ages of the people doing the comments but I'm 43...I heard what I heard!! Shit, guys. If you read the lyrics without knowing what really happen, you'll think it is for a girl/boy. This song, was performed by Pete Townshend and wrote by Jesus, that's what Pete says. When Pete was in cocaine addiction and when he need to get over his addiction, he came with this song, Pete says that he was in a dream talking with Jesus and Jesus literally said the chorus, he love what Jesus say to him, so since that day Pete stop his additcion and make this song.
