Top Gear hates anything American. They are so anti American it's not even funny. Obviously it's not going to handle like my C6 Corvette but, for a 4,100+ LB car it's not bad. My cousin has one & I've driven it many times. I think the handling is very good in the SRT-8. Just my opinion.

I guess it takes one to know one. The 300 was the 1st LX car, and the first SRT8. They weigh the same or within 50 lbs. Charger's weren't available when I bought mine. The 300 has more creature comforts and style IMHO.

My LS6 block with a ported L92 cams, L76 manifold, a 10.9:1 compression ratio ported on the engine block. The dyno run on my car was in august 2007 502rwhp and 498rwtq. I have to admit though, your car obliviously has much more power than mine. But I wonder how it'll run against my vehicle with a weight of 1088kg.

I guess your not aware that it's a 5 speed auto, with a double overdrive. I doubt you have anything that will touch in. You ignorance of the car would make you easy prey. Stock block with h/c and a 100 shot ran 11.60's at 123.00. And that's at over 2500DA, if you know what that is. .

I have an '06 Magnum that's got 50k and is on it's second transmission after one rebuild and is on it's second transfer case...

The original Vipers where built with a better quality drivetrain than later Chryslers. Trust me, there is a reason why Daimler Mercedes sold Chrysler and they are now bankrupt. They developed a habit of bastardizing everything after around 1998. Personally, if I wasn't a Mopar Performance fan, I'd go back to a Nissan.

no big deal, my friend has an SRT8 Charger bored to 426 with cams and nitrous, he recentley supercharged it and is now looking at around 800rwhp. I think hes now looking for a new tranny as well pistons and rods

I know about PLENTY of people w/ that same setup and more.....there are also a few Jeeps with that setup as well and some with turbos and getting fully built NAG1 tranny, transfer cases, kevlar clutch, and everything else....

So i'm not new to the game son....this is my second SRT-8 and my Jeep is getting a vortech blower ther end of this month and heads/cam/headers put on it as well....

Then after that a 392ci....
