As for trends today, i agree the games have gotten crappier, but there are still alot of good games out there, for instance fable, final fantasy 13, yeah plenty of stuff to look forward to ^_^

Yea i agree with you, there are good games nowadays but they jus doesnt have that same feeling like the really old ones. Take Super Mario Galaxy for example, it was a ok game but it jus wasnt like Super Mario 64 like the gameplay or the music. I like how most games bring back some of the platform and music from the previous games. Twilight Princess is another great example for bringin that stuff back from Ocarina of Time. So yea there are some good games out there.
