Not here to judge him, it's his privacy and I never really saw any of these photos that were allowed to publish on magazines. I just don't quite believe when he said he had deleted the photos 6 months ago unless he never use his laptop ever since (which seems unlikely from what he said). The longer you deleted a file, the more impossible you will be able to recover it. I deleted a folder few days ago, no recovery tools helped me recover that folder. Is there any IT expert who can enlighten me?

@Furirosity You can actually recover a file after it has been deleted. As long as no new files are saved over that particular segment of the hard disk. So it is possible.

What i don't understand is, why would CNN demand or rather, invite him for an interview. I know he is Canadian and known world-wide, but isn't he a Hong Kong based artist? I have only seen him play parts in some Hollywood movies, but as i recalled, it wasn't a handful lot?

I don't think it was his fault, but what I'm mad about is how he handled the situation after the scandal. He could have at least treated the women involved with a bit more respect. He just tried to run away. That is what most people are pissed off about.

It's cruel, but that's what he established. And since both parties were on the same wave length, and they clearly agreed on it. People won't ever understand the situation unless they are in them. But Edison and those girls understood- so people shouldn't be mad or pissed.

Edison doesnt seem like a bad person, he just made a mistake by perhaps uploading those photos...Everyone makes mistakes,and it seems like he really learned from it....Also, everyone is responsible in this case.....They were all willing participants in acting the way they did....Edison himself for taking the photos, the ladies that took part in it and lastly the person that decided to hack into it.....

i wasn't there when he deleted it but retrieving really old files from your hard drive even if you deleted it long ago is really possible.. i use it when i want to retrieve old softwares etc.. there's a software that specifically does that

If you know how to delete and intend to do so , you will not be able to retrieve it. They can retrieve it, it is becuase he did not intend to do so or he delete it in a wrong way. The judge just cannot prove that whether he intended to delete or not. if he claim that he delete it but it is in a wrong way, it is not his fault.. you really know nothing about computer and law man...
