I kinda missed Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. It has some great music, especially for battle and boss battle music. I personally loved the end boss/sinistral battle music. Shame it wasn't in your top 10.

Loved that you put in Grandia though, really underrated game and underrated music.

Even though I could go on and on about your top 10 and what my top 10 would be, I actually agreed on about 8 out of 10 of them being in the top.

Truth be told my favourite RPG series for song is definitely Kingdom Hearts. Those songs were really thought out, suit the environment and definitely lets you know when you are about to battle anything.

The songs also seem to give a little spritz as to what emotion you will feel (as in like that *tiny* spritz of fear you could get when a giant/evil looking boss appears infront of your face.)

Oh and actually Final Fantasy XI, which not a lot of people know sadly, would probably be near the top of my list. Clash of Standards, the Wings of the Goddess battle theme is amazing. Also the track called Ragnarok which is the battle theme for the Alexander fight is great (you can see it in one of my youtube videos); the battle theme for the final boss of A Crystaline Prophecy in another great one and of course Awakening, the battle theme for the Shadow Lord fight (and Dynamis-Xarcabard).
