  • perfect for mountain biking hahaha

  • if Rambo was on the run again he would use a bowler

  • @plendor: brilliant!

  • Very different to most tomcats, I like it!

  • well he probs just used about a tenner of fuel driving up there lol GET A BLOODY DIESEL!!!!

  • @RocstaBurge - I dream of having a diesel 4x4 like a Rocksta one day.

  • @widget3 no dont get a rocsta they r shit i got a daihatsu fourtrak now tis much better but i only got em fore some fun to rag round the woods and wreck, the fourtrak dont seem to wana die though an i wana get a nissan patrol next. its alright if u can afford the fuel for a bowler but my pockets aint deep enough lol

  • @RocstaBurge :)

  • Its funny how you don't see any jeep owners here trashing the Bowler?

  • @BALLIN02130 that's because they know when they're beaten, good old fellows the jeep community :)

  • ive been up the its awsome if its the same place doesnt it bend around to the top with rocks all the way up

  • I'm not sure what type of Tomcat this is. I know Bowler offroad made maybe 4 variants of the tomcat before selling the manufacturing rights to 'Tomcat motor sport' who developed another 2 or 3 variants to add to the list.

This could be any of them!

It does confuse things when some people refer to every tomcat as a bowler tomcat when it might be a newer version made by Tomcat motorsport.

  • Its a Bowler 100SRV. Unusual because it has doors rather than the slide in apertures. Hope this helps! Agree about the generic terminology though.

  • @widget3 This is how they started out. just rangie chassis and low cut landy body around the space frame check out some 1980's Lro magazines and you'll see the adverts in there!.

  • its not even a bowler but it is very nice :)

  • It is a Bowler, but an older design and perhaps one you've not seen before. Based on a Range Rover with a spaceframe chassis.

  • no iv seen the one bassed on the defender aswel and that looks nuthing like it

  • I'm sure you have. However, Drew Bowler's first Comp Safari special was based on a 100" Range Rover - and I know the fella who sold it to him.

  • what a cool lane, where is that?

  • It's in Cumbria.

  • Impressive motor, you make it look easy

  • Not me driving. Good driver, low vehicle weight and V8 flexibility are key to this sort of climb.

  • Bit tame...

  • Well done - that's the point. Green laning is tame. It's a public road - not a playground :)

  • ok got me.....

  • :)...
