  • Lets build something...

  • but will it blend?

  • @kjkaber lol

  • He throws the pencils half's, and they magically stop in a convenient spot right in front of the tape measure..

  • @KSpreco That happened on the first take... then we tried to make it happen again and it was impossible...

  • well good to know that since i can use a tape measure and a pencil at the same time i am considered to be an insanely coordinated human being

  • @unicyclewsu

Look, most tape measures are sold on how far they stand-out which is less important then how accurate they are and how fast you can make a perpendicular (to the tape blade) line or mark. The model shown above is for rough framing... but for finish work, you would use the model that lays down a pencil line that can be erased if needed...

  • @unicyclewsu Of course you can use a tape measure and a pencil, but that requires that you have a pencil and that you use both hands...

  • Was waiting for it to say that it cuts diamond! :P

  • Nice! But will it mark your moms waist?

  • not that cool. you can just attach a blade to a normal one

  • @puffmonster689

Except that it marks using a small wheel that rolls perpendicular to the tape blade and the new version lays down a pencil line off the wheel...

  • The guy probably failed elementary school for not being able to use a pencil

  • i bought a husky tape that had that a few years ago. Did you sell the patten?

  • @vthammerman I sold it to Newell/Rubbermaid and then filed 7 more patents on tape measures which they licensed. The new technology that will hit the market in three months, will be the fastest, most accurate tape measure ever designed... That is a big statement and when you see it you will know why... Thanks for asking!

  • Pretty cool, I've uses the other end on a conventional to measure this way, but having the mark on the measuring end would be very handy.

  • I love the overly retarded examples of complete fucking idiots who cant mark with a pencil.

BTW, this looks to be inaccurate as hell.

  • @MastaSquidge It's actually very accurate. 1/32" But i still prefer to use a pencil. It's much faster just to mark with your hand then it is to line up 32" to the edge of the tape measure...

  • @MonsterArmy23 It is much faster and more accurate then using any pencil... At trade shows, we offer $1000 dollars* to anyone that can measure and mark faster then the "NEXT Tape" No one has come close.

    (*see offer for details)

  • what the hell is with this "Will it Bend" Crap??

  • Ok people...this is a TOOL, a tool as in for WORK. Since when were people stupid enough to think a tool was a fucking toy??? I swear man, these days there ain't many people with smart minds anymore.

  • @obviouslyblack haha a dumbass can't use a tape measure. whats next, oh you poked his eye and becomes blind?

  • Instead of a sharp object, you should put in place a marker of other material as a pen or something special that can be cleaned, because your product has two problems: 1 - safety and 2 - if you miss the extent, the object will be marked with a scratch...

  • The Worlds most Amazing Tape Measure!

    Really??? How so?

    Done that, been there.

  • piece a shit

  • I lol'd

  • wtf? it can't cut skin but it can cut metal and glass? holy crap

  • I'll buy it IF its accurate and I mean dead on....How accurate is it???Is it bang on ?Can you adjust it if its off?Is the next one gonna be prettier?

  • @TheNeoSwoosh K first, my uncle has one, and yes, its very accurate. The pin is directly under your line of sight, so it marks exactly where you want it to. And you dont need to adjust it because its so small it cant be moved. Even so, it wont matter unless its over 1/32". And why the hell does it matter if its prettier? Its a tape measure...

  • needs to do glazed tiles

  • i definitely made this for my young inventors project in 7th grade, 6 years ago

  • i like how no one uses a tape measure like they do in the black and white

  • Actually I laughed o_o

  • @obviouslyblack Another Satisfied Customer!

  • Want long length but got no mark, Well try NEXI tape measure ! it won't make you kill a man and take his shoes and fly all the way back to europe and eat a biscuit that is 2 years old and cross the street naked!now tell me that 2 +2=4 bitch

  • OMG these guys could seel ice to an esquimo!

  • Some choose the green pill other the red pill...

  • @nogli, u cut at the mark so u dont see the mark, and if u are putting up a picture, the thing that u use to put it up hides the scratch. Plus, u can barely see it.

  • @scoobydoorocks10 Thank you!!!!

  • Great tool! Where can we get them?

  • Thats it... all it does is mark? what a waste of time

  • @CASn1p3r

NO it builds the entire house for you including finnnancing. It's a government tape measure dammit.

  • I think I'd rather have removable pencil marks on my stuff rather than irremovable scratches.

  • @Nogli it marks it for where you need to cut...

  • what happens if you have your finger under there??????

  • @MrMrknow It does not cut skin, it's a glass cutting wheel.

  • lool

  • loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool echt grapech dat is ook ooits bij mij gebiurt echt waar

  • This is a good idea

  • It's probably just hardened steel...

  • instant cheap glass-cutter

  • YES

  • yes, cause when i sharpen my pencil, im gonna use a razor....

  • @time2knife most builders do use a razor for sharpening pencils... this isn't primary school mate

  • @kjkaber lol xD

  • pause at 0:16, he looks sorta like james bond xD

  • mhm thing that make asses blead

  • that thing must be expensive since it can leave a scratch on anything! i bet that little material used is diamond lol

  • @mfredy213 its diamond crystals little tiny ones coated onto metal which is cheap as fuck...havent u ever heard of a diamond sharpening stone for knives...those are cheap and it has diamonds

  • the line will curve a little bit too. who wants a curved line?

  • he didn't seem to happy with it in the end.....

  • Oh I see why this guy loves the product. He's completely incompetent with everything else.

  • No need to measure just cut once lol

  • lol wtf

  • A built-in pen would be far more practical...

  • @Smonjirez Also add in built-in tweezers, mini scissors, 3 different blades a bottle opener and a corkscrew for some reason.

  • @theblasto And a sound system.

  • There are children in this world without any pencils.

  • Sooooo, it will not mark butter?

  • OMG I wet Myself

  • 0:14 lol wood

  • Hey! How did you get in here?! Why are there little lines on everything?!! AHHH!!! What are you doing with that tape measure?!!! NOOOOOO!!!!! Somebody help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love the exaggerated part of all the commercials. the people are always so fucking stupid.lol like the snuggie comercial, with that chick being all pissed off at the covers.lmao

  • @oibobbo then dont use it smart one

  • And....where can this be bought...?

  • Yes, because I smash the pencil into the object just to break the graphite.

  • there's no lead in pencils

  • get the lead out. but how to get the scratch mark out?

  • @Ratboy8888 one aplication of 69 and your set ;)

  • what is the marking edge made out of?

  • and then you're like: f*ck i measured wrong

  • I dont want to fuck up my marble shit, btw those people with penclis are complete idiots..

  • @Ratboy8888 where to buy?

  • @Reavoltion Nigahiga! LMAO!

  • @uzziniho

    Yup! :)

  • This is actually somewhat cool

  • holy shit!!! he can hold a mesuring tape and a mobilephone at the same time!!! thats madnes!!!

  • I'm using old fasion rusty metal nail to do the mark.

  • if the length isnt very far away it could creat a bent of line

  • did anyone else think that this was just kinda stupid?

  • But can you erase it?

  • I marks almost everything!

    Wood

    Slate

    Granite

    Tile

    Marble

    Dicks

  • I think i've just seen the stupidest shit in the entire world

  • HAHA i love how they make it look so hardcore like it's a breakthrough

  • wow...These people have created a viable tool that will aid working on construction sites or other places where time is a factor, and half the pieces being worked on will be covered up. Plus, without using pencils it helps saves trees...

  • What a piece of SHIT.

  • too anyone who doesnt want scratches and such, dont buy it, yeaaa

  • But will it blend?

  • @METALARCUZ thats the question

  • @METALARCUZ Sure it would :D Let's check it :D

  • @METALARCUZ That gave me a good chuckle

  • @METALARCUZ now that @#$%% FUNNY!!!!HAHAHA

  • @METALARCUZ yes it blend themselfes

  • guessing a diamond?

  • in the granite business, we use soap stone to mark stone, it dosnt scratch, and its erasable, why not make a slot to put a small line of soapstone in the tape measure, writes on just about anything at all, and can wipe off.

  • But is it a strong reliable tape measure??.......... no point marking where you are going to cut, if the tape measure end hook becomes loose and throws out your measurements by up to 5 mm.............

  • i think people are just getting slack..

  • Geez!, its a tape measure not a cure for cancer! Whats wrong with a pencil? Would if I mark the wrong measurement now I have to get rid of unwanted scratch on my material!

  • wonder wat happens when u measure your penis o.O

  • @oibobbo Then you go with the other model that leaves a pencil line off the wheel... Measure and mark with one hand, and once you try it you don't go back...

  • to be honest, i wouldn't want a mark in my granite, flooring or anything! just prepare some duck tape and your invention is down the plug hole!

  • ever heard of a pencil sharpener? Id buy one with a crayon attached. An everlasting one.

  • @Ratboy8888 dude i can super glue razorblades to this shit for free

  • I just use a Sharpie...

  • 120??? that's crazy... maybe 30 bucks just because its unique...

  • that's for ppl who aren't blind Like my dad =3

  • Who the hell uses a regular pencil for marking the length of something?

    Stupid

  • Do they like pay those guys to fail?

  • @Ratboy8888

Aww come on', you have to have some sort of sense of humor.

Mine was just a joke :)

You know how sometimes on T.V. commercials they are like

only 5 easy payments of $19.95 and whatnot. ^_^

  • wood, glass, drywall, copper, tile, PVC and your wife.

  • oh so it is diesel mesuring

  • Oh thank you so much! I absolutely hate using pencils, they are so difficult and break exactly the way you portrayed them in this video!

  • now every teenager in the world can get one and scratch almost anything!! yay!

  • muito bom!

  • I´w like

  • LMAO Just pray you don't mark, sorry, "Scratch", it too short of your measure when measuring. Suddenly that pencil with an eraser looks much better. LOL

I knew there was a reason why the pencil's been around for so long. Now THAT was a great invention! LOL

  • HAHA awesome! Must be some type of industrial diamond in that or something. Anyways just dont drag your measure along your surface, our else you'll have a very nice long line down your project.

  • the thing that cuts should be a diamond!

  • Because everyone wants marks on their furniture.

  • @thesledbub -- LMAO !!! I SO agree bub! The infomercial is quite entertaining actually with the guy looking at the camera and the pencil constantly breaking. LOL

I thought it was a joke prank making fun of infomercials at first. But I'm beginning to think they're serious. LOL I kind of wonder if whoever came up with this idea, actually has really ever done any type of construction work. LOL

'Cause like you said, " Because everyone wants marks on their furniture." LMAO

  • stuff

  • YES, now i can finally measure my dick.. and mark it.

  • @Ru55ianGrim -- LMFAO Grim!!! And Grim?, don't forget to look in the mirror with the same look that he does towards the camera at 1:08 after ya mark it. LMAO

'Cause ya know, this measuring tape is just that good. LMAO

  • CHECK OUT THIS GUY MARKING ON ALL THIS STUFFFFFFF!!!! WHILE USING A CELLPHONE?!?!?!?

    ITS REVOLUTIONARYYYYYYY

  • If you make a mistake in the marking and have to remark can you erase the wrong mark?

  • @RosalindQ57 Nope, you just ruined a $5000 piece of granite, sorry :) (seriously though, who uses a tape on granite instead of a laser and water cutter? lol)

I would say the marking feature on this tape is only good if you 1) never mess up (yeah right), or 2) don't care if the final product has marks if you do mess up, or 3) have enough disposable income that an occasional error can be redone

  • @RosalindQ57 This design is foe general framing... For DIY apps, you would use the one that lays down a pencel line off the smooth edged wheel. It looks the same .

  • next...

  • FUCK PENCILS! MEASURE AND MARK LIKE A MAN!

  • I don't see why everyone is freaking out about it.

It's a pretty cool/convenient tape measure. It's not exactly super special but it's still pretty cool.

  • extreme tape measuring

  • how about marking diamond??

  • I don't care what these trolls are saying, I like it. It's a great idea.

  • so this commercial tells me that i should use the tape measure because pencils ALWAYS break on contact.......

  • @legosonic AND theres no such thing as a pen.

  • OMG A TAPE MEASURE WITH A RAZORBLADE SO AWESOME HURHURHURHURHRURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHURHUR

  • I mean the a great idea dont get me wrong but you still have to use a pencil reguards to draw the line so you have to saw it .

  • what if u dont want to damage the "anything" ?

    hehe epic fail lol

  • WOW i was expecting some sort of lazer... but noooo. an old fasioned tape mesure with abit of a sumuri sword stuck in the bottom.. wow

  • haha i wouldent measure my dick with that

  • @elderlyschool are millimeters too big to measure your dick with, lol

  • @TheClevo351 haha yeah :(

  • for a second i thought it was made out of uberstix :)

  • Scratch twice.....cut once.

  • mate you got some shite pencils

  • Why would you use a stencil knife to sharpen your pencil...? If this scratches everything you measure, wouldn't it be easier buying a normal one so it has more functions...such as...NOT scratching everything you measure?

  • lol you must be using a really bad pencil DX

  • Ah I dunno, I use the tape measure mostly to measure my thingy. Don't wanna scratch that!

  • ITS AMAZING! they must like put in some crazy device that can scratch anything in the tape measure! oh wait... diamond can do that...

  • I always talk on the cellphone when I'm doing heavy building... Always!

    So I need this! omg...

  • lol i love the over done re-enactments xD

  • if you can t use a tape measure and a pencil at the same time, it means you should consider working in a coffee shop

  • The pickup line was good, very professional. But you forgot to close the deal? Where do I send my money?

  • nice tool.. how much does it cost?

  • what if you got the wrong measurement and you scratched it. that wouldn't happen if you had an eraser and a pencil

  • i dont think i like the idea of having to move my measuring tape sideways while im measuring. then ill get a crooked line and that may mess up my cuts

  • What?!?!?

  • That rules.

  • I tend to find a good quality pen or pencil works much better and tbh I would be worried about how unsafe the blade is since its constantly exposed with no guard, anyone not knowing of the cutting blade could get injured

  • I love ads where people are depicted as being unable to do simple things. Oh God pencils! How do I work this thing? It's so confusing!

  • how is this the worlds most amazing tape measure the ones that come out and go back in are better then this one and its been around for a while, and btw ive never found it that hard to use a tape measure and mark with a pencil that's just a retarded reenactment

  • thats kinda stupid for some reasons as u gonna have a scratch or mark on ur glass or wood....

  • If you don´t want to scratch it? Useless
