  • "No Sound But a Heart" is the album title by the way.

  • 1987, this album was set to be released and never made a full legitimate release (EMI contractual disputes). So glad to have gotten a copy of the CD after One Way Records re-issued her older stuff.

  • Not horrible, but this is definitely not their best work together. The song was recorded by Chaka Khan later and had evolved a bit by then.

  • Good version of Prince's song. She knows how to bring his style to life, without losing herself.

  • In a million years, I'll never understand why she released this very subpar track as a single!

  • Fabio @ 1:06

  • I have a copy of this video, but it's grainy like this one. There must be a clearer version somewhere. I so wish that a Sheena video collection of all videos would be released.

  • Jeepers! This video has Prince written all over it

  • Absolutely including the guitar work.

  • This is my first time hearing this song. I do like the vocal arrangements but this song sounds like so many other Prince compostions from that time and does not really stand out.

  • Does anyone else think that guy could be Edward Cullen if Twilight was made in the 80's?

  • Wish someone would post a HQ version of this video.. someday.. :)

  • vocal arrangement is fantastic!

  • Love this song,power song,tell it.

  • So freaking gorgeous.

  • I like the Prince version waaay more

  • Too much Prince, not enough Sheena on this one.

  • Not only did Sheena Easton get this song but Chaka Khan as well

  • First time seeing the complete video. Saw a blurb on ET a long time agon. Thankx 4 postin'

  • I don't care for the song either but I've never seen the video. I'm glad not everyone got rid of their videotapes.

  • Oddly enough the song was a huge hit in Turkey.

  • the short haired sheena is always the best

  • I had the single, but the album got held up with contractual issues. Was finally released years later...."No Sound But a Heart." Besides this song, most of it is pleasant mainstream pop.

  • Did anyone notice Fabio was one of the extras?

  • You nay sayers are crazy! This is one of her best songs ever. Prince wrote it. Video is great too. Unfortunately this album or single was never released in the USA, because of the USA's fickle tastes in music had already moved on.

  • The single was released (45 had a poster sleeve), but apparently the album was either not released at all, or it was a VERY limited release. I've seen Canadian copies........

  • Actually is was released in the states. And also in Europe where I got my copy.

  • class...

  • Sheena's a great singer. But this is one of her songs that just don't do it for me.

  • Another great song from Prince and delivered only by Sheena Easton. Another classic!

  • I personally don't think this is one of Sheena's better songs, but I had a feeling it was written by Prince. I know they did 2 duets together ("You Got the Look" & "The Arms of Orion"). Plus he wrote "Sugar Walls" for her as well.

  • They also collaborated on "101," an awesome single that really didn't do much in the States, except on the dance charts.

  • Actually Chaka Khan covered it on her CK album but prefer my Sheena's version!

  • @sanatino ....Are you kidding me??? Some of Prince's and Sheena's worst work came through their collaboration. "Sugar Walls" is the only memorable track from their work together.
