ok i got a g1 off my friend and my had a flex pay and i had a per prepaid so i had talk and text and thin i had put a code on it and my sis got it wrong so manny times and thin it ask me to sign but i cant cuzz i dont have the data plan so i cant sign in so im asking is if you can help me so i can go to the mane menu and if you help me i can tell you how to take a pass word off a sidekick dont matter what one cuzz it work the same and i cant find the video to do that no where

Try to use a credit card or similar to unlock the cover from the lower end... at least that's what I do.

Same here. Not able to open my brand new G1, I am going to break it. The cover sits too tight on the lower end where the control buttons are.

well not yet but i think you have to call t mobile or go on some website and they will tell you the code but u have to pay $24. when u call t mobile they will do it for free. mine is still not working im gonna have to call them up later.
